Air Canada / Magical Express

Just wondering if anyone has flown Air Canada and used the yellow baggage tags from Magical Express.
Are those tags only for US flights or can we use them in Canada?
We always fly out of Buffalo so it's never been an issue. But we are using Air Canada out of Toronto on our next trip.

We always fly out of buffalo. Infact i just got off the phone with dvc to book magical express. We never use our tags we always pick our bags up ourselves and wheel them to the express lines. As far as air canada i dont know but all you have to do is call and ask.

WestJet had no issues, so I imagine Air Canada wouldn't either. It's really for the Orlando end of things anyways, so that they will flag your bags upon arrival and deliver to your resort and then get them onto your flight home.

Doublecheck with Air Canada to set your mind at ease but I'm confident you will find out that there will be no problem.

The DME tags will work with Air Canada as well, we've done that a few times without a hitch. The only catch is for some of the charter flights previously
(i.e. Skyservice), if you don't pass US customs in Canada, then you will have to pick up your bags when you land, pass US customs, then the bags would be dropped off to DME after.

Please note that the Resort Check-in to return to Canada doesn't work with Air Canada flights or any international flight for that matter. You will have to check in your bags the old fashion way at the airport.

You will have no problems with the yellow tags when flying air canada - we've done so several times. Just put the tags on your bags when you leave home and forget about them until they're delivered to you room.

When flying Air Canada from Toronto you will clear US Customs at YYZ and so when you land at MCO your flight will be treated like any other domestic flight arriving within the United States. That means once you get off the plane you can go right to the Magical Express check-in desk and your checked bags will arrive in your room 3 hours later.

Well the tags are not used at all by the airline. So as far as they're concerned, they could be happy faces. We've flown in via Toronto, Direct from Montreal and also via Miami and have never had a problem with the yellow luggage tags.

We have used Magical Express on WestJet, Air Canada, United and Continental from Halifax and have had no problems with having the tags left on.
