1 quart of water in the next 15 mins. I have drank 2 cups already, so I am halfway there. I am NOT even thirsty! Having a pelvic ultrasound in a little over 1 hour for probably cyst. I hope I make it. If they are late I may pop!

I had put if off too. At my annual appt. the gyn said we needed to go ahead and do it "just to be safe". Ugh. Last time I did it was when I was pregnant, so that was FUN! THIS is NOT! Call them dd, you know how long these things can take to schedule;) !

I think those are worse than the internals that I have to have during my infertility treatment. You just want to run to the bathroom. Here's hoping they get you in and out fast!

Wow, I thought drinking all that water was a thing of the past. I know for my ultrasounds I specifically asked about that since the doctor never mentioned it. He said its not necessary with the new technology they now have. The ultrasound machines do a good job without the water having to push everything up.
Good luck and be sure to find out where the ladies room is before hand!!!;)

Good luck, the last pelvic ultrasound I had they didn't make me drink that much water. Hope you don't pop :)

We know Jason:rolleyes: :) !
I made it! They were ON time! I was going to the bathroom 5 mins after the appt time. And going, and going... Then I got to go back for round two of the ultrasound.
It is strange, 7 years ago with DD I NEVER was told to drink water. Said it was not necessary. Must be a reason  !
Maybe because SHE was doing enough pressing;) !

I'm glad it went okay. I once drank all that water, then they were running behind and I had to wait 30 minutes. Then the tech said I drank too much water, so I had to let some of it go but not all of it. Needless to say, I was so happy when that ultrasound was over.

A word to the wise. Don't take the schedule of water drinking too literal! I ran into a problem with that for one of mine. I just plane couldn't "hold it" that long!http://www.magictrips.com/forums/images/smilies/xmouth.gif

Glad to hear things went well. Once when I had an ultrasound my bladder was so full, she let me go to the bathroom and then come back for her to finish! I could have hugged her neck!!!;)

Thanks guys. Every bump in the road, on the way there, was quite painful! I am glad it is over. Must wait 2 weeks for the results though:rolleyes: .
