Hi all,

I have been lurking on the boards the past week or so and just wanted to say thanks for all the great information that is posted here as it's been great to read all about what to expect.

I'm Jo, and from South Australia and we have just booked a 5night/6 day package to go and visit Disneyland Paris in May. We are visiting family in the Cambridge, UK for May and decided we needed to take a side trip, so there will be me, my husband, and our 3 kids (11year old daughter and 6 year old boy/girl twins) We'll be driving over and still trying to figure out the whole Eurotunnel or ferry thing and we'll be staying in the Hotel L'Elysee.

Any advice or recommendations gratefully taken :)

Hi and welcome to Dis.

Cambridge is a lovely city - DS was at Uni there for 4 yrs so I visited often so Im sure you'll have a great trip.

Its great you are able to combine a trip to DLP as well.

Ive usually done Eurostar - its faster and the main advantage is that if you arrive early they put you on the next avaialable one or if you are late they put you on the next one whereas with a ferry I think you are usually tied to the time you have booked for

Hiya! Nice to meet you & welcome! I am a fairly new newbie too, and have found this site sooooo helpful. I have 3.5 year old ID girls and we are hoping to go to Disney in June!! See you around!
