:banana:Just booked our Disney trip for August (keeping my fingers crossed for free dining). Now I must make our dining reservations tomorrow. Help! I am starting to second guess my choices. When are good time to dine?

Thanks!

Good for you! I can't get enough of WDW.
As for dining, it really is luck of the draw with reservations. It's crazy how busy it can get.
My personal choice would be to try and make 'lupper' (lunch and supper combined) reservations for mid to late afternoon. If you are going in August, beware of the high heat and humidity. If you have ressies in the afternoon, it will give you some relief from the sun and heat.
We eat breakfast in our rooms, bring or buy a snack (popcorn/fruit) and it's enough to keep us going until the afternoon meal.
Have fun!:yay:

We also dine in the early afternoon as it is a great way to get out of the hot August sun! This is the third year in a row that we'll be there in August. I usually don't have any trouble making reservations for early afternoon. Good luck! :thumbsup2

We booked all of our ADR's for our trip this past October back when there was only a 90-day window, and we usually shoot for around a 6 pm reservation. For a couple of the more popular restaurants (Le Cellier, Coral Reef, O'Hana) there seemed to be only 2 options - very early (4 pm) or late (8 pm). And this was at 6 am on the 90th day out! So the restaurant you want might have limited options, but I'm hoping it's gotten a little easier with the return of the 180-day booking window.

A lot of times we book our meals at the non traditional times if we can. Most people eat at the usual lunch and dinner times.
