We are going in July for 3 nights and we are planning on getting the QS Dinning plan. Thsi is the first time we are going to be using the dinning plan.

I am allergic to eggs adn peanuts, which means that most of teh CS desserts are off limits to me. Can I substitute fruit for the desserts or is that no allowed?

If we cant substitute the desserts we might re think the dinning plan since I cant eta the desserts, my mom doenst eat that much dessert adn my dad shouldnt eat that much dessert.

Fruit is allowed, and all CS restaurants would have some type. Plus, ask - they may have a dessert that you CAN eat. Also, people have reported being able to get a bottle of water "for" (in place of) dessert.

Posting on the diasabilities forum will get you plenty of experiences. I suggest you post there, they can help you.

It was only towards the end of my trip that I began to ask if I could substitute a dessert for something else. I had good success with asking "can I substitute THIS for a dessert". I was able to substitute for a fruit once and once a yogurt.

I was able to get fruit at a lot of places. I was even able to get vegetable sticks a few times.

The only meal that this is not allowed is breakfast as it doesn't come with a dessert but rather two drinks.

I ended up using my fruit and a snack credit in the AM's for my breakfast. It worked out great.

When you get to the CS, you may want to mention your allergies to the CM. Disney is GREAT with accommodating diets with allergy restrictions. With TS, call or email at least 10 days before your trip. They will give you a form to complete detailing your allergies. At TS the chef will actually, if possible, make an alternative for you if you wish, if you are planning on squeezing in an OOP TS. If not, no need to call ahead. Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

When using it for lunch/dinner I was able to substitute dessert for fruit, fruit cup, and yogurts.
