View of Shuttle Launchpads

Spaceview Park in Titusville has a direct view of the shuttle launchpads.

Here is the view of the VAB from the deck of the Wonder, from May of last year. It was a little foggy that morning. When we were on our cruise in august you could see the lauch of the shuttle from Castaway Cay.

You can see a launchpad in the distance from Space View park but if you go where I mentioned on the show it is a much better view.

Yes you can see the VAB from the cruise ships.

In 2007 we saw one of the shuttle launches from the Magic Kingdom. It was pretty neat.

Sad that they are discontinuing the shuttle. I remember back in 1980 or 1982 when I was in 2nd grade bringing a small black and white TV to my classroom for the whole class to see the shuttle launch.
