Hey Everyone!

I have read that if your group is over a certain size (6 or 8) an automatic gratuity is added. Since most people are paying separate (either through meal plan or cash) I was wondering how this works. Is there one separate bill just for gratuity?

Thanks:goodvibes

They usually just add each person's portion of the gratuity to their bill.

i.e. a party of four orders $100 dollars worth of food their portion of the auto grat (18% for parties of 6 or more) is the $18 from their bill and it would be on their check.

Okay great, so they separate it ahead of time than?

I believe when you order they ask who is with who and then the bill and tip get split automatically from there.
