It's getting bad when it hurts to lift up your mug to drink coffee!
I have been suffering from "tennis elbow" (NO I DO NOT play tennis! LOL!) for weeks now. Despite all my best intentions to lessen the usage of my right arm - it has not improved. Now I am sitting here DISing, drinking my morning coffee, and muttering "OUCH!" as I lift my mug to drink.
SAD state of affairs. Getting old and falling apart!

I hope I never get that bad.:( Maybe it's coffee elbow instead of tennis elbow.;)

The only recourse for coffee elbow is a coffee IV.;)

You could use a straw. Then you wouldn't have to lift it.

I wondered that too, how I could get tennis elbow if I don't play tennis, I was told by the doctor is the overuse of the arm....I call it old age creeping up on me! Not fun Dixie but don't worry, you won't feel a pain at DISCON, ROFL.;)

I guess I had tennis shoulder last year. My doc told me to take ibuprofen and try not to use it. lol
Mine came from holding onto a stop sign and an umbrella in a storm. Some days I felt like Mary Poppins. lol
It took about 4 weeks for all the pain to go away.

A coffee DRIP! I love it! Just plug in and I am good to go! Of course I will need one of those roll around things so I can be portable.... Wonder if my insurance would cover that?!  ;) :p

Dixie, have you seen those hats with the straws coming from both sides. They usually have beer in them, but maybe you can fix it up for your coffee? :)

Coffee tastes weird coming out of a straw. Don't know why, but a good ceramic mug makes it taste so much better.:)

Of course my coffee mugs are basically giant TANKARDS which I am sure does not help the situation! LOL!
Gosh... just tried to drink with my left hand.... I have a DRINKING PROBLEM now! (can't hit my mouth very well using the left hand!)

I think you should use a straw rather than risk chipping a tooth while using your left hand! ;)

You sure it is not 'gardener's elbow', Dbl D?? How about tennis knee? Is there such a thing? Or is that just old age and arthritis for me?? Raise your mug for a toast, Dbl D, slowly and carefully!!!! http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/coffee.gif

I'm pretty sure it is....
Gardener's grind, aggravated by horseman hay heaving, all compounded by coffee consumption.
:p
Okay... Now I have to go get dressed, take some more ibuprofen and GET TO WORK!

Is that Irish coffee you're drinking?;)
I have a problem getting my left hand coordinated in the mornings. The other day I stopped by one of the local convenience stores for my coffee fix (we were going on a little trip). I placed my kids' drinks on the counter and when I went to put the coffee down (it was in my left hand), I accidentally dropped it on the counter and got coffee EVERYWHERE. I should've known better than to put it in that hand.:( The lady behind the counter was really nice about it and laughed her head off. Luckily she didn't get burned.:o I swear, I can't take me anywhere in the mornings.;)

I appreciate the hugs! It's suprising how much it hurts sometimes. Luckily ibuprofen really kicks it.
LOL Shannon! You have a drinking problem too!
