That's what AT&T told me two months ago when my calls weren't getting through in my home area, they wanted me to get new phones but I didn't because I knew they were not going bad. Guess what?? They finally admited to me that one of the local towers is down and they have 12 cell sites down in my area!!, now remember...it's my phones not their 12 cell sites down the reason why my calls don't go through!! I wonder how long is going to take them to fix the problem, they have no problem on charging me FULL price for HALF the service!!

Of course they don't have a problem charging you full price. Its AT&T what else can you expect.

What a pain. I don't know how people expect us to be that stupid. If you had one phone, you'd probably have believed them, but what are the chances that two phones would break at the same time?

Had A T & T cell service a few years ago and both of our cell phones broke at about the same time. We had 1 year left on the contract so I took them to the store to ask about repairing them. I was told that all of that type of phone was breaking and needed to be sautered and that it would cost me 40.00 per phone to get them fixed. What a rip-off! If it was happening to all of them shouldn't it have been recalled & fixed at no charge to the customer? Needless to say I no longer have AT & T service!

this gets better...now they tell me that the tower located in Stroudsburg is not affecting my service...HELLO??? I live 10 minutes away from there!! it's the only one we have but better yet, I get a phone call 10 minutes later telling me the tower was fixed just yesterday....isn't that a coincidence?? Let's see what happens when I call dh today on his way home!
