Park Hopper Plus passes on room keys?

Is it possible to get park hopper plus passes on your room keys upon check-in at a WDW resort, or can that only be done with the ultimate park hoppers?

Also, we will be checking in to the WL early in the AM, and don't expect our room to be ready. Assuming I can put the passes on my room keys, will we still be able to do this before our room is ready? We want to drop our luggage at the hotel and head straight out to one of the parks.

Could someone also tell me if they can transfer paper PHP tickets bought in advance onto the Key to the World card?

Yes you can have PH's put on you room keys. We had bought 4 day PH's at the Disney store and decided to upgrade them to 5 day PHP's when we got to AKL. They just took the 4 day ones credited our account and charged us for 5 day PHP's which they activated right to the room key. I don't see why they couldn't give you the PH/room key when you arrive. We had already checked in when we did this, so I'm not sure though. Maybe someone else knows!!:)

You can have PHs and UPHs put on your room keys when you arrive, but most CMs will only do tickets that you buy right there. In other words, you can't buy tickets ahead of time with a discount and get them on your room keys. The process of doing that is long and complicated. You can, however, use your DC discount (if you have one) at the front desk.

You'll get your keys as soon as you check in. If your room isn't ready, they'll give you a number to call, and you can call from the parks and see if your room is ready yet. They usually tell you right then what room number you'll have, and they'll show you on the resort map how to get there.

You can put the passes on your key before the room is ready (and you will have charging privlages too). But you will not have access to a room. You will need to go back later in the day to check-in to get your room assignment with the key cards they issued to you and they will put the key code on your key/ticket card.
