Which non-Universal hotels are walkable to the parks and how long of a walk? It seems a bunch of hotels say they are walkable but by looking at a map, they don't really seem to be. And there are other hotels that seem closer that just say how close they are but don't say walkable, so maybe there is something like a highway etc. that may block the walk? I have listed the ones that I thought seemed the closest, but I wasnt sure how long the walk took and if they are even walkable at all. We are looking for a hotel that we can walk to CityWalk from. Thanks DIS'ers for your help.

Hyatt Place Orlando Universal
Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal
The Point Universal Orlando Resort
Doubletree Hotel at the Entrance to Universal Orlando
Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Studio City
Holiday Inn Universal Studios

I have stayed at The Doubletree and its about a 10 min walk and the hyatt place is right across the street and would be the same but the rest of them I have no idea how long of a walk they would be

The others seem farther away. I think the closest would definitely be Doubletree.

there are many hotels that offer free shuttles to the park every day. I know the embassy suites on jamacian court has a free shuttle and this is just off of international drive. this would save a lot of walking.

Four Points is walkable along Universal Blvd - no major intersections to cross; Universal Blvd. crosses over I-4, but there is a walkway with a very high fence. I would say it about a 15 minute walk, maybe 20 minutes. Not bad walking in the morning, but felt a lot longer on the way back. Crowne Plaza would be a very long walk. Doubletree and Hyatt Place are the shortest walks - not sure about Holiday Inn, if its the one by these two hotels the walk would be about the same.
