Can anyone tell me what the pool and slide are like? We might try the poly next trip. My kids do love a great pool and slide. I have only stayed at one deluxe, WL. I was a little dissapointed in the pool and slide at the WL. The hot tub was great. How are the hottubs at the poly? Are they close to the pool? What resort do you think is nicer. WL or poly? I am going to try to go in May and use the codes. I think we could swing the poly with the codes. Any in put would be great.. thanks....corvair

There are some good pictures of the pool at www.wdwig.com

We'll be there for the first time this November and WL next November. Can't wait!

My kids love the slide at the Polynesian. They are 4 and 6 and still ask to go back to hotel with the slide that has the red and green light.

The Polynesian pool is fantastic... but, just so you know... there is no hot tub at the Polynesian. One area of the pool has benches and jets, but no hot tub....

One of the big complaints that people have about the Poly is they donot have a hotub. I just thought since you asked you'd like to know that there are none at the Poly.

My DW and two DSs -- aged 4.5 and 7 -- loved the big pool!

I see that people have already mentioned the jacuzzi section of the pool. It may simply be part of the larger pool, but it was still nice to sit in and rest weary bones at 7:00 in the morning.

One end of the pool is zero-entry, my youngest boy loved that part. The slide is at the other end, and unlike some of the other slides at the Disney resorts, it's an enclosed slide. Very cool, very fun. With the exception of little one, we all tried it and loved it. Sometimes, it was hard to get the older boy out. The deepest section of the pool is maybe four feet and some -- located off to the center side underneath the waterfall.

You can also see the MK fireworks from the pool too.

All in all, it was the most expensive trip to the swimming pool we've ever made... lol

The pool is a lot of fun. It's the kind where you can walk right into one end, it's kind of like a ramp in water. And the slide is a lot of fun. It's right in the volcano, and has red lights in it to be like lava. It also has a basketball hoop and ball to play water basketball. It isn't very deep, but you can always go to the other pool which has a deep end.

Another great feature of this pool is the underwater sound system! You can hear the MK PA system (the music) while the fireworks are going off! You hear the same thing the visitors are hearing at the MK! My boys (and myself) loved it!
