I hate that freakin place!

My cousin is in town & somehow my mom guilted me into taking him & my sister. She is paying my way, but it still doesn't change the fact that the place sucks.

It's not that I don't like non-Disney parks, but this one is a hole! Plus it'll be 100+ degrees.

Does anyone know of a quick 24 hour psuedo-illness I can fake?

Gee, Jeff,
You look a little "feverish" to me. And your voice sounds a little scratchy. Do you need another box of kleenex already?

Seriously, for some reason strep throat is making its rounds up here.

I think you are very nice for going to Six Flags - just remember to bring half of your bank account for their overpriced food!

Jeff I am the same way...non Disney just doesn't work for me. I think that is the main difference between amusement parks and a THEME park such as Disney. I hope your day will go by fast and maybe you can just enjoy the co. that you are with....in the heat, sorry. Have a great day....sorry it wont be magical.:(

If you were a woman, I could think up several for you.:p Since you're a man, just tough it out and have fun.:teeth:

I'd go for you if I still lived there. It's not anything compared to WDW, but I love the Judge Roy Scream. I used to ride the Texas Giant over and over, but I seem to turn into a bigger weanie every year.

It will be hot. I don't know why they keep the engines that run the rides so close to the crowds.

I wouldn't mind going. At least it gets me outta work and I've never been a 6 flags before. Would love to ride coasters! :)

I hope you have a better time than you think you will. DS is a youth pastor at a local church. Two weeks ago he took, with some more adults, about 60 youth to Six Flags in GA and then to White Water. He said he about roasted!!! Took him a week to get over his two day adventure!

Is that like a meth clinic for Yankee Candle addicts? ;)

Methadone is actually a new fragrance for the fall

For fall?
It seems more of a summer scent to me ;) I want a crisp leaves scented candle - to smell like October

Six Flags may not be disney is theming and the family atmosphere but the parks offer great entertainment and some rides that put disney too shame when it comes to pure thrill attractions. A day at a Six Flags parks is easily better than a day at work and im looking forward to my trip to Six Flags Great America tomorrow and my last ride on a classic roller coaster The Whizzer which is closing as of 8/11/02.

The only other Six Flags I've been to is Magic Mountain in CA & I liked it. I just can't stand ours. I'm not a huge death coaster fan anyway (but I love RnR & CA Screamin). That coupled with the carnival atmosphere, dirty grounds, poor or no theming, unbearably hot weather & your only choices are either little kiddie rides or puke makers means that this park has very little to offer me.

Like I said, I enjoy non-Disney parks (I like Knott's a lot), but I dislike this Six Flags.

My sister & cousin are already at the park & I'll probably end up going & meeting up with them a little later.
