Can I add the DP and pay with the gift card at check in?

I've got a trip booked end of april getting the $750 gc. Can I get the card and use it to add the dining plan when we check in?

No, the dining plan has to be added to your reservation and payed for in advance at least 3 days prior to check-in.

I don't think you can do it that way. I think you have to pay in advance. However, you can use your Gift Card for food purchasing.

You can't do it that way. You don't receive the gift card until you check in, and your dining plan must be added and paid for no later than 72 hours before check-in.

I heard for that deal you had to purchase at least a 5 day ticket.

I would keep the tickets at the least you can for the Gift Card pkg and use the Gift Card to upgrade (more days, hoppers, WPAM) then you can add and pay for the DDP with your package. Use any extra Gift Card money for tips, room charges and souveniers.

why not just use the gift card to pay for your meals?

Though we love the dining plans, using cash or a gift card gives you even more flexibility on what to order. If you all decided you just wanted fries & cokes for lunch, you can do that with the gift card. But if you paid for the dining plan, you'd feel you weren't getting your "money's worth" out of a counter service meal unless you got the sandwich & dessert too. Just a consideration...
