We are 4 moms running away to Disney for the weekend to run the Expedition Everest Challenge. We are looking forward to hot meals where we don't have to get up 500 times and don't have to cut up anyone's food but our own. We arrive in the evening Friday night and leave in the evening Monday.

We have decided to do Hoop Dee Do Review our first night. We will either pay out of pocket with the regular plan or use deluxe dining. We have the Princess Breakfast in Epcot booked Saturday morning, because two of us have all boys and will never attend a Princess Breakfast otherwise. We have a ressie for Le Cellier Sunday for lunch. I was thinking of adding a late lunch Saturday, but it can't be too big because we have to attempt to run a 5K at 8PM, then another 2 credit meal Sunday night and one or two meals on Monday.

If we pay out of pocket for HDDR then it's only about $50 to add deluxe and get a lot more food, but we will spend a lot of time eating and probably traveling to eat. We will be staying at OKW.

Based on your first paragraph. I would;) You could also consider a meal at Olivias,SSR or DTD so you do not spend alot of time traveling.

I actually just ran the numbers again and it's only $35 above the cost of HDDR to do the Deluxe. It's a lot of food though and one evening that we won't be able to eat at a sit down because we will be attempting to run. I wonder if we could do the Princess breakfast at EPCOT, then a late lunch at Le Cellier and still be able to run 3 miles at 8PM?

That would be alot of food the day of the race. Do you have hoppers? then you could do the breakfast another day and have an earlier lunch at LeCellier

We will have hoppers one day but not the other. We will be using a ticket that comes with the race and hopefully a give a day get a day ticket that we add a hopper to. So right now we have...
Friday evening arrival and HDDR
Saturday EPCOT 10:30 Breakfast and race at 8PM at AK
Sunday AM DHS and Lunch at Le Cellier Dinner ? EMH til 2AM at MK
Monday Breakfast ? Lunch ? Plane leaves at 6:30.
Trying to figure out if there is enough time to get all the meals in for the deluxe plan. Hmmmmm, decisions, decisions

If you did it, I would try to hit the 2 credit meals. I'm considering it for my next trip, and am looking at doing a breakfast or early lunch and a 2 credit dinner each night. As much as I love to eat, I don't think I could do 3 sit down meals/day.

Im not familiar with the ticket that comes with the race. Is is possible to upgrade that ticket?

We probably could upgrade the ticket but it would cost an additional $52, I believe. Then our "free tickets" would end up costing us $104, not worth it I don't think.
I figure race day, staying in one park will be fine. Then the following day, we have from park opening until 2AM at MK to go wherever we want.

I just can't seem to figure out how to plan meals for race day because the race isn't until 8PM.

Ideally an early breakfast and midday (1-2ish)lunch would work best.
