We stayed there for 3 nights during Chiristmas 2007, it was a good hotel for the price, very close to Universal, in fact, we walked to the parks a few times. They also have a shuttle that takes you to Universal, Seaworld and Wet & Wild. The beds were comfy, the only problem we had was the tub stopper became detached from the tub, not a big deal we just used a washcloth to stop the water from draining. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
You also get yummy chocolate chip cookies at check-in. Have a great time!:goodvibes

thank you for the pics and info i dont feel too bad now - i was disappointed that i had to move from HRH but at least i still get to be there for HHN - we have been spoiled with the FOTL access but i am sure we will survive since we do go to other amusement parks and that is not an option anywhere else.
some of the reviews i read were horrible but i take everything with a grain of salt and like much people know only the bad things ever get told - i am thankful that you said its nice
one last question we wont have a car is there anyplace within walking distance to get something to eat at a reasonable price - we are going to buy I-Ride passes so we can always take that if need - in particular my daughter would like to know if there is a CICIS nearby. thanks

My friends & I stayed there for my sisters 25th birthday. It really was just a walk over to Universal Studios. It felt like we had been walking forever though, but it was worth it :) I know I enjoyed it.

There is a Cici's on I-Drive, so you could do that. I'm pretty sure there's a TGI Friday's right by your hotel as well. Lots of restaurants scattered within the area that aren't too far walkingwise.

If you walk across the street from the hotel there is a TGI fridays and if you walk a little futher down from TGI fridays there is a cracker barrel and in the other direction of the hotel across thier parking lot there is a Golden Coral , some steak and ale place and burger king in back of that and I am pretty sure things haven't changed there is a deli at the hotel that also makes Pizza Hut pizza.
To answer the other poster they do have coffee makers but no frig.
Hope this helps :thumbsup2
