Campsites 1:00 pm Cabins 3:00 pm Sometimes you get lucky and your site is available earlier. I think I saw a couple posts where people actually got in around 9:00....If not you can check in and then park in the over flow until your site is ready and do a little exploring.

Are you serious ??:confused3 Everywhere ??

A few threads down this same page is your answer.

The thread is "Fort Wilderness checkin time? "

I believe your answer is: Official check in time for the campsites is 1 pm. For the cabins, it is 3 pm.

On the main camping board, where you posted this thread, look up a bit higher and some threads will say "sticky" on them. They never move down they are 'stuck" to the top.

Last time we went, we crashed in a hotel room in Kissimmee the night before we checked in at the Fort. We got there bright and early at 8:30am and were expecting to be told that we would have to wait for our cabin so I had planned for us to spend some time picking up our golf cart and exploring the Fort that morning. MUCH to my surprise, our cabin was ready and we were allowed to check in right then and there.

While I wouldn't ever bank on them having your room or campsite ready early, it never hurts to let them know your estimated time of arrival even if it is early just as we did. They might be able to work it out so that you can check in early also. It never hurts to ask.
