Since I was old enough to drive I have always wanted a Beetle I just love them and have never been able to have one due to diffrent factors any way yesterday my dream came true I bought a Beetle :cool1: I am so excited not sure my DH is though as he had to px our maszda RX8 so he has a sad face at the moment but I am sure he will get over it he had his boy toy for threee years and now it is my turn :banana: rool on saturday so I can collect it .

How funny, have just had to sell my beetle due to our expanding family, and sold it on Saturday, it will be going next Saturday. I have to admit to being a little sad as it is my pride and joy, but am obviously happy for the reason to it going. Enjoy your beetle!

Brilliant news, beetles are so cool, please post some pics! I am a mini girl though, I have just ordered a cooper s cabrio but have to wait 6 weeks!

My mum had a beetle in the 70s. She managed to drive the whole of my Guide patrol (6 of us) and all our equipment (including tent) to camp at a farm a few miles away from home. I think we had to tie the bonnet/boot? down with rope as it wouldn't close properly. Not one of us had a seat belt - my goodness I wouldn't even think of doing something like that nowadays.
