Thinking about having a DIS meet.. The saturday of Labor Day weekend (september first) Thinking of an afternoon cookout kind of thing (yes we can use the pool!)

Ohhhhhh! Yes, once again Im whining! We will be driving home from WDW that day...that is, provided we still go(I always say that because I dont want to curse us by assuming things are fine).

Ok after checking with Chris's psychologist...he is serious! So who wants to come to a DIS meet to meet the famed DIS MAC expert? He will be handing out autographs!
Amid Chao has graciously volunteered to be in charge of coordinating the "who's bringing what" list so you can PM her...
I am figuring we will start around 1... and go till whenever!

Chris is serious? Oh I would love to "really" meet your wife after all the help shes given us on our trips. Although, she probably doesnt feel the same after the grief Ive given her, LOL! Im bummed!

I have had some requests to move the party to Sunday to help the long distance travellers.. how does everyone feel about that?
It would be Sunday September 1st.. I also realize I screwed up the date TOTALLY in the first post....
Sunday would be awesome for me!!! I have a party in Carver on Sat...and would have to squeeze in both!! If Sunday, we can make it the entire time!!! :) :)

For the out-of-towners.... Alex sent me a link to this cool hotel - The John Carver Inn (http://www.johncarverinn.com/) that's fairly close to his place. They will give us a discount if we book 5 or more rooms so if anyone else is interested let me know, and I'll make arrangements to have them hold a small block of rooms.

If anyone is interested, there will be a few rooms at the John Carver Inn available for booking on Friday afternoon (8/2).
The rooms are being held (until August 16th) for both Saturday Aug 31st, and Sunday Sept. 1st... just ask for the group name Dreams Unlimited Travel to get our rate of $139+tax per night (not a huge savings... but better than nothing :) )
Oh yeah... a phone number to the hotel might be nice huh?
