Thought I would share this information with fellow Dis-ers on this board. I just noticed this on the AC website this a.m., there are very low rates out of both Montreal and Toronto to Orlando during Oct. and Nov. this year. I saw one way rates of $89 and $99. (And no, I do not own AC stock)! It is worth checking into at least.

Update Feb. 15: Checked the AC website this a.m., the prices are back up to the $200 and over price range. Not bad, but not as good as before.

Darn!

I wish I had read this earlier. I just tried to book for our November trip. Prices were showing $292 per person with taxes in. When I go through the booking process they have an alert telling us that the prices have gone up...now showing almost $700 per person.

Thank-you very much Gigi22. I went online and booked for the 4 of us from Nov 29 to Dec 8 for $1168. We normally fly out of Buffalo but we usually have to change planes and now there are checked baggage fees. The extra couple of hundred bucks is well worth it and saves us from having to travel to Buffalo.
I just called my neighbors and they are booking now as well.

I'm checking AC's prices on a daily basis for December. Last week they had some $89 fares, and the very next day they were up by $200!

I just booked Halifax-Montreal-Orlando for end of August $400.00 PP taxes in. That is pretty cheap from here. :cool1:

Glad to help out! I know what a PITA and expense trying to book flights out of Canada can be. Sadly, I had already booked flights for DH and me at a higher cost (well, one of us is using Aeroplan points), but I'm glad others could benefit.

Just booked our tickets out of Halifax for 4 for $1500 end of August. It was $3200 last week. :cool1:
