Photopass preorder for last minute trip

I booked a trip for Feb 26 yesterday. I read on the boards that to get the preorder discount for photopass you have to order through email now. Will that email come before we leave? Can I contact them with my reservation information and preorder? I called the number I found for photopass and they were not helpful at all. Thanks for any info you can provide.

The only way to get the $50 discount code now is if you get an e-mail from Disney Destinations before your trip. Some people have said they went on the disney site and set up an itinerary and it seemed to trigger getting the e-mail, but that's not a proven fact.

It doesn't come from Photopass, that's why they can't help you. Check the PP site - sometimes there are other discount codes posted.

I talked to the Photopass people and they told me it was a random e-mail and just because you book doesn't mean you will get one. :confused3 I went through a travel agent and had to e-mail her to e-mail photopass to even be put in the running for a discount.:surfweb: I did get a discount but it's not for a pre-order, it's a discount code for when I place an order with my photos.:cool1:

After reading this, I added some things to my itinerary, and I got an email with the pre-arrival photopass discount this morning. I'd previously set up an itinerary and put which days I was going where, but yesterday I added activities to those days. The odd thing is that I received the email at an address that I haven't used for Disney stuff. I don't know when I associated it with that account. Oh, well. I'm just glad I got it!
