We were going to drive down to the terminal in Sept. but have now decided to fly in on the 12th for our 14th cruise. We are going to rent an Avis car, pick it up at MCO and drop it at the Radison before the cruise. We will be using it to tour the Orlando area for 2 days. If you were us, what option would you use to return to MCO after the cruise? Just two of us.

I am now waiting on the experts.

We would use car rental back to MCO if you play it right taking a afternoon flight say around 2 or 3pm you still have time to go to Downtown Disney for last min shopping or just last time to look and remember. The Mears transportation is slow with loading and you right off to the airport no choices here. Beside the cost is just few dollars more depending on size of car you may beat the Bus cost.

We took a town car to the port and Mears transportation back to the airport after our 7/6 cruise. We got off the boat at 8:30 and were on a bus and back to the airport by 10:00.....since we weren't leaving that day, but spending the night in the airport, we went right in and checked in and were in our rooms relaxing in no time.
