Wake up call

Strange question and I couldn't find an answer anywhere else, but what is the wake up call by Goofy that alot of people have mentioned? At a guess, I figure it is a normal hotel wake up call, but Goofy's voice at the end of the phone instead. Is this right? If so, the kids will love it!

when you get to your hotel, use the book by the phone and it gives you a number to phone and book your Goofy wake up call!! You just key in the time....then your phone rings and Goofy says "it's time to get up!!" (or similar) My DD laughed every morning and said "He's called us AGAIN!"

Apparently this is not happening anymore according to some forum members of DLRP magic.

I have never used it and when I did all i got was a old man on the end of the phone at the Santa Fe telling me to wake up :lmao:

Hopefully it wont be an old man this time, but either way, as long as I am up in plenty of time to get to the park for EMH then i'll be happy. 15 Days to go!!!

We did this @ Sequia Lodge each day and it's an automated message of goofy saying "ah hey hey hey, it's time to get up! We've got a BIG day ahead of us! haha!"

If you get the Goofy version it's "Sorry to bother you folks, but you've a big day ahead of you................................." and it's a really great start to the day, we've had Goofy do the call at every hotel except at the New York in January, when we had a young lady's voice, I wondered if it's because the hotel is so popular for conferences and maybe business men/women wouldn't appreciate Goofy :confused3

Do they still do this? And does anyone know which character is doing it these days?? When we went in 2008 it was Stitch...thanks for any info!!

Ive got a mickey wake up ring toone on my mobile I downloaded it from a site called zedge but i cant find it now ,i cant remember where it was on the site ,but someone may be able to find it it was free ,i also got a mickey theme although it depends on which phone you have ,i wake up to every morning :lmao:

It's a bit hit and miss as to who you get at the other end of the phone. Last trip I had someone from reception but the year before it was Goofy :confused3
