Hi Folks
Are the dining plans guest specific?
We have 6 night res's. Me DS & DDIL. DDIL's parents are coming but staying off property.
The kids don't arrive til late ( 1130 pm) the first day but the DDIL's parents are coming down when I do. Would I be able to use the dining plan on the inlaws the first night before the kids arrive?
We would probably eat at the Trails End as we aren't going into the parks that night.
Hope you understand.
Thanks Gary

Technically your not supposed to but it is room/site specific and it should work. Just tell the server that you are all together and only need one check. Your card key will show 4 adults on your site reservation and only you or your wife will need to present your card.

Thanks, now let me throw another monkey wrench into it.
I have made my FW resies. I did not by park tickets yet. My kids bought their own tickets. Will I be able to ad the dining plan to all when I buy my tickets?

As I understand it you probably will not be able to add the dining plan to the kids tickets. You have to buy a MAGIC YOUR WAY PACKAGE for eveyone on your ressie, room/campsite, at least one day park ticket. Then you can add dining for each night of your stay.
Hoepfully some one else will chime in, but as I have always understood that is the only way to do it. Also you have to buy the package at least 3 days prior to arrival.

However, the one day ticket never expires. So if you really want the dining plan, purchased the 1-day ticket for everyone, then when you get there upgrade your tickets to whatever you need, leave the youngons tickets alone and they can use them on a future trip.
IF anyone in the group is an Annual Passholder, you CAN buy the dining plan without purchasing tickets.

i had no issues using the dining plan for friends that weren't even staying with us. As long as you have enough credits on your card. The room was for 2 nights/2adults, so i used 4 credits at chef mickey's.
But you do need the package for every one on the site. So at least one day ticket per person.
