In looking at the menus I see that this is a character buffet. Has anyone been recently and can you tell me which characters were there?

It isn't a character restaurant. There is an audio-animatronic Remy that interacts with guests.

The Studios park doesn't stay open as late at the main park, even at weekends, so the restuarant won't be open for dinner. I know some members have had a meal at Restaurant des Stars as late as around 3.30pm, but we usually go for lunch at around noon or just after :).

the food here is very nice and has the largest choice for buffets i think anyway. you get 1 free soft drink or unlimited hot drinks with the price, under 3s eat free

I may have to steal this picture to show my friends what I'm talking about when I said I want to 'dine with Remy' I doubt they'll have clue what I'm talking about. :banana:

Does Remy come round to your tables one by one or is he just in one place and you have to scrum to get a picture?

He's wheeled to each table in turn so you'll get chance to get a decent photo or two. :thumbsup2

His appearance times are usually on the park programme which you get when you arrive at DLP.

We've always seen him at least once when we've been at Restaurant des Stars at lunchtime :).

I am just back from Disneyland: when we booked for the restaurant we asked also when Remi comes out and were told that he shows up at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 PM. I think you'd better ask when you are booking, to make sure to see the mouse. I suggest you to make the reservation, because in this way you'll be seated right away, and won't do the queue waiting to be seated having under your eyes (and noses) the whole buffet!

The restaurant in my opinion is very good, as there is a large choice of food, so you may find something suitable even for picky eaters like my son. There are also delicious desserts. I'll write the review in the restaurant section as soon as I will upload the pictures.
