Best Bay Lake Tower Standard View

Hi! Just booked my Sept BLT reservation for a 1 bedroom villa!!! Can't wait. I read on here that if you asked for a low even numbered room above the 3rd floor you could see the castle. Anybody have any luck with that? What exactly did you ask the cast member to put on your room request? Looking for thoughts on the best standard view room at BLT. Thanks!

I believe all Standard View rooms are below the 4th floor.

We've had SV in Aug & Jan and both views were great, BTW. One was on the inner side with view of bocce ball court & the other was on the outer side (directly across the hall from the first room... how weird was that?) with a view of the marina & CR.

I recommend you look at work2play's excellent thread on BLT rooms and views (see http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2257082). Based on reports from people who have stayed at BLT, work2play has created some maps of the BLT rooms by view category and accommodation. The maps are in Post #1, and many people have posted photos and reviews of many of the villas.

The even-numbered villas are on the outside of BLT's crescent, while the odd-numbered villas are on the inside facing the pool. According to her thread, work2play indicates that some Standard View villas are as high as the 5th floor. Also, if you really hope to get a view of MK from a Standard View villa, you'll want to be on BLT's north side. The even-numbered villas on the south side of BLT's crescent face away from MK and I don't think you can see MK from those villas.
