Hi everyone, It is 1440 (2:40) and my Mom called me about 10 minutes ago to let me know that she is back from the hospital and her cataract surgery went well.She is very tired and was going to lay down.The trip to the hospital was fairly long and of course coming back was just as long and the temperaure is in the 90's .
She is 89 years old and the trip has really sort of 'wiped her out' Thanks SO much for all your prayers and Pixie Dust. Joan-aka Blondie's Mom

I'm glad to hear everything went well. Praying now for her to rest and recover quickly. :)

I know how scary it is when our elderly parents go into surgery, BOTH of my parents had surgery in the past month, Mom is 76, Dad is 83.

I know you're relieved....

I didn't see the original post about this, but I am glad that all went well for her. My grandmother had this surgery not too long ago (she is 91 right now) and she recovered nicely... I pray for the same for your mom :)

To everyone and especially Disfanatika, Thanks again for all your kind thoughts,prayers and PD.
disfaantika, it wasn't my mom who was thinking of getting a bichon,it was me. And I got another beagle,who is definately a Mommy's girl,bless her sweet little canine heart. She was 11 weeks old when we got her from a breeder in NJ and now she is 16 months old (on the 24th) Thanks again, everyone.

Hi Blondie's Mom!!! Glad all is well. Beagles are great too. It is my wish to have a bichon some day...

I am sorry about that...I only saw Blondie and didn't realize the thread was by you when I first read the post earlier....
