MK Session is not available for my week

Has anyone ever run into a situation where the MK bridal session was unavailable for your week? They said I can extend it a year but I really wanted to have it then since i dont know if i will get back to disney and the money it costs to go down there. This was the a big reason I wanted to have the wedding there. I am so upset.

How disapointing!!. Is it booked up or are they not doing it during that time? If it's booked I'd keep onto your planner about it in case there's a cancellation.

Could you extend your stay for a couple of days and try then to see if that does the trick?

Oh that’s so disappointing :sad2: it happened to us too and i'm the same the photos was why I wanted a Disney wedding in the first place. For us getting back to DW from Australia was not going to be possible so we extended our stay a little over a week and let planner know that if a spot opened up earlier to let us know. In the end a spot did open up and at a better time too, I never though cancellations would ever happen but they do. Chat to your planner and see what they can do to help, good luck I hope you can get your photo spot :hug:

Oh I am so sorry for you. I don't even know what to say! Have you considered an EPCOT photo shoot? The countries made for beautiful backdrops for our wedding portraits. The Disney photographer did what we asked and we got some great shots.

I hope it all works out! I would be so disappointed if my heart were set on MK. Good luck, I'm sure your wedding will be beautiful no matter what !! You'll be gorgeous!

So I talked to my WC yesterday and it is because Disney is rehearsing the Christmas parade which is understandable. I was given the option to move my session to the next time I come down since we can not extend our trip due to DF going overseas to get his family and then to bring them back. I have to say disney was very very accommodating and the silver lining is that I have to go back a few months after the wedding. Meri was wonderful! So far she is an amazing planner and is willing to work with every situation that may arise. I can't wait to see the wedding!
