I was able to secure $154/night ($170.20 with tax) with a teacher
discount for 9 days starting Holy Thursday of 2003.

We are AP holders and have the DC & AAA members.

Do you think any deluxe WDW resort can beat the price ?
Has the newness of AKL worn off ?
Contemporary wings have a better rate ?
WL not being on a monorail bring down prices ?

I think Easter week is regular season, if not consider peak.
Anyone have an opinion on this ?

Thanks

Easter is Peak season at WDW, and Holiday at Universal.
Using the teacher's discount we were able to get the Dolphin for $129 a night for 4/21-4/27. They also said we could waive the resort fee. (We are arriving the day after Easter.)

The only way to know for sure is to call WDW and ask about rates during Easter week. I kind of doubt you'll get a deluxe for less - but you never know.

Considering I was quoted a rack rate at the Disney moderates for $174.00 for Easter break 2001, yes! You got a fairly decent rate.

Just keep checking for discounts between now and then, and hold onto your reservation.

Easter is one of WDW's busiest times of year.
