Who named their animal after a Disney character?

I named my black and white spaniel mix Mickey. Has anyone else named their pets after their favorite character? Or am I just sick? :)

I have a dog names "Wendy" who's registered name is, Ch. D'Aire Off to Neverland. I also had a dog named MICKEY who's registered name was, Ch. D'Aire Mickey Mouth. I also had one named Tink who's registered name was D'Aire Tinkerbell.

I don't think it's unusual at all. Two out of four of my furbabies have Disney names - and my dh named them both!! He's not even a Disney nut like me. :p

Copper Ann, a beagle, is named after the Hound in Fox & The Hound. The "Ann" was added since she is female, but usually we just call her Copper.

I guess naming Tramp doesn't take much explanation. He was a stray we took in, but he does resemble Tramp from Lady & the Tramp.

I can usually find quite a bit of L&TT merchandise, but have never found anything from F&TH (besides lithos). :( I'm hoping it gets re-released sometime soon. :D

My 2 pets aren't named after Disney characters. But I plan on naming my future pets after Disney princesses (since that's what my doggie acts like).

We have a black cat named Cricket. It seemed appropriate since he is black and can jump really high, but I wanted to make Cricket his middle name and called him J. Cricket!

We also had Mickey and Minne. They were fish, but they died.

When i was growing up, we had two pups whom we called Tigger and Pooh Bear...Pooh Bear was the runt of the litter and died shortly after we had her...I was in second grade and it was so so sad. Tigger lived up through last year..wow he was old..I had a fish I named Mickey and my friend named her cat Pumba. heheheh I dont think we are wierd..Disney just has good names for animals. hahahah

Here's my sweetiepie, Winnie. She's 1 1/2 now, but looked just like a big fluffy blonde bear when she was a puppy.

I am not a big fan of animals, but I do have a stuffed bunny rabbit who is very important to me. I named her after a Disney steam train, the Lilly Belle. My bunny rabbit is called Lilly Beth.

I used to have a cat named Tigger. He wasn't very bouncy, and he was a grey tiger cat, not orange... but I liked the name Tigger, so Tigger he was, and Tigger, with a new owner (my grandmother who was keeping him for us gave him to a lonely friend of hers, without permission, long story), he still is!

None of our animals are named after characters, but we do have a cat named after the creator of it all!! Our cat's name is DISNEY!!

I have a calico kitty named Rajah (dd named her during her Alladin phase!). ;) Also have a dog named Zoe...after Zoe on Sesame Street and a black kitty named Firestone. He was a rescued kitty that was run over by a car..the rest of the litter was killed. The accident left him blind in one eye. The vet named him Firestone because...well...the tire that squashed him was a Firestone!!! ;)

Jasmine Rajah .....she was a wonderful doggie....we loved her so much .....she was very regal too....if I knew how to post pictures I would share the one of her when she was in the yard looking off with her head tilted ever so slightly up....very regal.....she has been gone now for three months....we still miss her every day

Actually I wonder how many of us have a cat named Simba (ours was just a brand new kitten when I discovered the boards, hence my name). We also had Lady and Tramp, both cats, until last year when Lady died. Now we just have Tramp. We also have Lucky, a spotted cat named after one of the puppies in 101 Dalmations.
