I was supposed to be leaving today but because of the weather, I am changing my plans. I am considering going after Thanksgiving but also thinking of going for my birthday, end of April.

Christmas decorations go up before Thanksgiving. Problem you may have is getting a desired resort/room for late November early December since it is a very high demand time and much could be gone already.

some before thanksgiving, but most of them are up by the week of thanksgiving. that is a great time to go.

That is why I was thinking the end of April. booking with only 60 days ahead of time is hard to get what you want.
