The Disney Club and the Disney Vacation Club?

I have an opportunity to join the Disney Club through work, I think free of charge as they gave us a chapter number to enter. Is it worth it?

Thanks

I have the same situation, and have held out for a few years...I find the discounts on resorts using the codes or A/P are usually as good if not better than any resort discounts through DC.

I guess I still have sour grapes that it used to be free and now you have to pay for it. I don't think it pays for us to join, but others may feel differently...

The Disney Club is a discount card that you can purchase from disney for a fee, you can get resort discounts, ticket discounts and you can also use it at the Disney Store.
Disney Vacation Club is like timeshare, where you buy points from Disney for a specific resort and you can trade those points for stays. If anyone knows how to explain better , please do so.

We belong because we buy APs and you get a 5% discount with DC. It pays for itself that way. We were ticked off, too, when the Magic Kingdom Club ended.
