Just wondering how it works as DS will be 2½ when we go and the brochure says Child Meal plans 3-11 yrs. I know some places assume under 3's (or even 5's) don't eat much so in a buffet style restaurant they don't charge but I wasn't sure if Disney operate this policy - thought they'd want to get all the €'s they can!
Also does anyone know if you have to book half-board vouchers for the duration of your stay or could you do, e.g. 2 out of the 3 nights we're planning to go for?
TIA

You have to book the vouchers for every night of your stay
Under 3s eat free in buffet restaurants but you have to pay for them in table service or share your food with them - theres no problem with allowing them to share your meal.

My son is 3 while we're there (3rd meal) but the website wouldn't let me put his birthday it kept saying the date range was invalid, in the end I had to put 1/1/2007 so suppose I've been charged for 2 night's HB vouchers I shouldn't have :-(

It says it's invalid because he would go as an infant. My daughters birthday is 16/3 but we travel on the 15/3 so I put her birthday in as the 15/3 so she goes as a child and gets her park tickets. It was that or risk paying for 4 days park tickets for her when kids stay and play free! so annoying! Just gotta hope they don't kick up a stink if they notice her birthday is a day wrong! (we booked travel separately obviously!) I didn't bother going HB though as she's not a big eater and will still happily eat from our meals along with her 18 month old little brother! (hopefully we'll get a look in too! :-))
