From the mouth of our illustrious former Vice President..............

"I love California. I practically grew up in Phoenix."

"It isn't polution that's hurting the environment, it's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."

"If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure."

"We are not ready for an unforseen event that may or may not occur."

"It's wonderful to be here in the great State of Chicago."

AND MY ALL TIME FAVOITE..............

"The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean, in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century." (WHAT?)

LOL, Kathy.

I like the one he mangled about "The mind is a terrible thing to waste." I can't remember it now, nor can I quote it quite the way Dan did, but it was hilarious . . .

I personally think Dan Quale was the oratorical predecessor of George W. . . .

DH says George and Barbara liked "Danny" so much
because he reminded them of their son. I quite
agree.:jester:

He is a very confused person. I hope that he is not being considered as Cheney's replacement for the 2004 GOP ticket.
