Our trip is booked for August 25 to Sep 6, and I have our flight to Orlando booked with Delta on a seat sale but I don't have a return flight (now I know that could be a good thing! :rotfl:)
BUT! Where are the seat sales? I am waiting for a fantastic cheap flight to come home, but so far the best one is $365 with tax on Continental to Edmonton! If I got this one, my total return trip would be $629 per person! ouch...

I think you are too early for any deals for September. The cheapest return is Sep 8 with Continental for $213.00US including taxes. Continental has a return from Tampa on Sep 6th which is just over an hour from Orlando so would be a good option. Also most car rentals do not charge a drop charge within the state of Florida for picking up in one city and returning in another.
I just found a return flight from Tampa on Sep 6th for $193 + tax = $221.74US.
