Has anyone got a recent menu of the CG?

Also does the HB Premium voucher cover the Tinkerbell set menu or is there a different set menu for these vouchers?

I know the menu may change before October but i'm looking into my dining options.

Also slighty OT, but is BBWWS open on a Sunday?

Echo echo echo.......

Hmm, I can't answer these *oh my gosh I'm stuck for words for once* but i'm bumping this up in case any one else has been recently and can tell you about Buffalo Bills etc!

I'm sure HB Premium covers the set menu. Haven't been recently though so can't help with the menu. TBH everything we've ever had there has been gorgeous with the exception of one item on the tasting menu (which no longer exists) which was a vaguely curried lamb I think on a bed of tiny veg in a pastry parcel. That was a little bit pants, everything else was simply divine daaaaaaaarling!
We are going twice in March. ;)

I know that things might have changed since we went but we had HB Premium vouchers in Aug last year and we were given a different menu to the tinkerbell menu, there wasn't that much difference between the two though!

My mate had for starters Foi Gras, I had a lovely salad, we both had sirloin steaks with chips, bernaise sauce and salad and for dessert we both had the ice cream and sorbet parade served in blown sugar which was utterly amazing and to die for!! That why I am going back to the CG just for that dessert!!:rotfl:

Pondering this, I think there are 2 different set menus. Maybe only one is on the HB vouchers.
Our children have eaten here, but I'm struggling to recall anything they had to eat! DS had pasta I think, he always chooses pasta. I'll ask DH, maybe he'll remember.

I hope they do something like Steak or grilled chicken on the children's menu.

She won't eat anything with a sauce etc.

Childrens menus are such a headache!:headache:

I like the sound of steak and chips, very yummy.

Maybe if someone is going soon they can take a photo of the menu for us.

The menu in California Grill changes seasonally so it is likely to be very different when you go Emma to what it is now

There are some lovely pictures of the food on the restaurant thread- I posted a pic of the menu last April which will be out of date now but will still give an idea of the type of food..

Claire - DD loved the childrens menu and declared the soup to be absolutely delicious. Shes just seen me looking at the photos and commented on it again

How big are the portions, i did look on the restuarant thread and they looked rather small?

It all looks like its plopped on the plate in a fancy way.

Even if the portions aren't huge, they are definitely enough as it's rich food. Scrummy. Really.

Emma, although the portions appear to be not massive it is surprising how they do fill you up!

Our steaks came with the chips in a little bowl, probably only about 10 chips!! but to be honest it was enough.

The ice cream and sorbet parade was served in a sugar basket and was about 8 little scoops of various flavours served with a chocolate curl.

We left there not starving, not stuffed to the gills and feeling rather uncomforatable but rather pleased with ourselves that we had had a really enjoyable meal.:goodvibes
