So, is there ANY way a dining rotation can be requested or changed BEFORE getting on the ship? I've read many people say you have to go to guest services once on board to change it, but has anyone ever even TRIED getting it changed ahead of time? I'm just looking to cut down on time when we board the ship running from Palo's to the spa to guest services, etc etc...
Would it even be worth calling to find out, or would I just be wasting my time?

T-minus one week! Getting REALLY excited!!! :p

You can request a certain rotation when you book but there are no guarantees. You will not find out your rotation until you get your KTTW card at the port. I don't think there is any way to change before you board the ship.

If you can get to the port early to get in the front part of the line- the line gets extremely long- you should have no problem getting ressies at the spa and Palos. We didn't make any ressies until after we ate lunch and had no problem getting what we wanted. If you wait until 3:00 or so the lines really start to back up.

RELAX and enjoy your cruise!!!:Pinkbounc Wish I was going with you!:)

Also if you wait to go to guest services after the spa and Palo's you will have no wait at guest services. Just don't wait too long, b/c once people have been to their stateroom they start to line up to complain.

We were on the June 22 Magic and needed to change our dining rotation too. After we boarded and made Palo and Spa reservations, we went to our stateroom and then cut out for guest services. The Navagator in our room said that we needed to go to Sessions to make changes in our dining rotation. Once there, we waited a minute or two and it was taken care of. We didn't feel we had to rush there at all. I hope everything works out for you. Have a wonderful cruise!

This part didn't sound too reassuring. Hope I'm not one of 'em! ;)

People coming and tryiing to switch rooms, cat. that type of thing. I only heard one bad thing when I was up there. Someone's room smelled and Disney gave them an option of switching to another room. Other than that you are out of luck esp. on the Western trip b/c they are booked solid.

When we checked the Navagator, I now recall having to wait until about 1:30 pm to go to "Sessions" to change the dining rotation. So, there was really no need to rush. We actually had to wait a bit before going. I hope this helps.
