I'm looking to have my reception at ADH and think the photobooth would work nicely with the theme as well as be a lot of fun. Has anyone had a photobooth. If so do you mind sharing your thoughts and what vendor you used. Thank you!

Since we're going to have characters and about 10 kiddos, instead of a photobooth we're going to either have our photographer take te pictures or have someone use our digital camera and either buy a travel digital camera printer and print the pictures foe the kids or take my memory card to CVS after our reception and print gem out for the kids.

I love the idea of the Photobooth, but would so much rather spend the money on characters. I hope someone else has ideas on pricig for you. It's an awesome idea.

I think Jason Logan (one of the Disney DJ's) has a photobooth.
You can probably contact him directly through his website.

I'm thinking about getting a photobooth too, you can get some great photos with them!

I remember reading a PJ sometime last year where the couple used one, I'll see if I can dig them up. I googled photobooth hire in Orlando and came up with a few companies - most of which advertise their prices, however I might question my coordinator about it and see if you're allowed to use outside vendors for that sort of thing, or if disney has one they can provide.

I'll let you know how I go. :thumbsup2

I couldn't find the couple I was thinking of but I did find that a couple of previous disbrides used www.partybooths.com (http://www.partybooths.com)

You must be allowed to get an outside vendor to deliver them, as it's been done before, but I've asked my coordinator about it and if he comes back with different info I'll let you know.

Hi ladies - this looks like a really fun idea! I think it would fit nicely with my reception venue too (ADH)!

Please do report back what Disney says about allowing (or not) photobooths!

thanks!!

Disney will hire out a photobooth for $2869. Which I think is a bit dearer then an outside vendor.

I really love the idea of one, but they seem so expensive! I'm considering just getting some props and a couple polaroid cameras, and making a sign indicating an area is a "photo booth", encouraging everyone to take pics and post their best...

Bec - thanks for the info!! Did Disney say you must rent it from them? Will they allow an outside vendor?

Haha! We were thinking the same thing! Just setting up a banner stand link this: http://www.displays2go.com/product.asp?ID=9113 and leaving a digi cam or polaroid on a tri-pod. With a tiny bit of instructions, I think people could figure it out. :rotfl:

thanks again!

You must be kidding!! I could get Cindy's coach for that price:rotfl2: When I looked at the above link for partybooths it was a third of that price for 2 hours. I'm definitely going to ask why there is such a differnce.

Wow, that is ridiculous! I was thinking that would be a great idea as well, but there is NO WAY I would pay that much. That money could go to sooo many other things.
