Can I cancel my DVC DDP at checkin?

I hastily added DDP to our stay for tomorrow and now we want to cancel it. Does anyone know if we can decline it at checkin?

Never seen this question before; while klynn is absolutely correct - based on the terms and conditions of the Dining Plan - you could ask. However, you should EXPECT to pay for the Dining Plan.

No - you are past the cancellation time. We as DVC members must book by 48hrs prior, and same goes for cancellation.

I read on the DVC board somewhere that when the CM tries to do this it somehow messes up your DVC points.

I called MS in the morning and cancelled no problem. I hope it doesn't screw up my points! They let me reserve it less than 24 hours in advance too.

You are supposed to add or cancel it no later than 2 days before check-in. It's possible other guests have had luck asking to cancel or add it at check-in or within 2 days. Doesn't mean all guests will have the same experience.
