Congratulations on 20 years Lisa!
Our cute dog will wake me up to get her breakfast and take care of her potty needs.
Kiss our daughter (15) and DH (over 40) goodbye. I'll miss our college age daughter and text her a good morning.
Shuffle back to bed for an hour and lay there and think that I should get up and do a devotional and clean up a bit.
I'll fall asleep 10 minutes before the alarm goes off at 8am. Feel sorry for myself that I have to go to work. I much prefer days that don't require a hairbrush or bra.
Go to work until 12:30. Come home, kiss my sweet dog, fix some lunch, and eat in front of the computer.
Mt. Washmore
Head to my studio and play with molten glass.
Cook dinner and hang with my family.

My DS18 is in the Shakespeare Festival at UofD the end of the month! I don't think I will be able to go, I have to work :( His drama teacher changed things up, and they are doing a scene from Hamlet, but all rolls are reversed. Guys are girls, and girls are guys. DS18 is Queen Gertrude...all day long I hear "The Drink....The DRINK... THE DRINK!!! I.....am.....(cough, cough, cough.... ) poisoned!" :lmao:

No sn@w here yet. Supposed to start "around the morning commute." Greaaaaaaaaaaat...
Princess has a scheduled half-day anyhow, so they have not canceled school. My FIL is coming to get her off the bus. Hopefully, my boss will send me home early.
I'm so with you on the no bra days! I went to the grocery store yesterday (I showered, dried my hair, dressed, etc.) and when I got home, I put my PJs back on. Ahhhh, that's a little piece of heaven right there!
Everyone be safe and have a wonderful day.
Crossing my fingers for a purple envelope (and a good mail-person to deliver it) at the PBF's house!

That sounds like it'll be such fun! DS loves Shakespeare. They are going to see a performance of Hamlet today at the festival as well as get a backstage tour of the theatre. He's really excited.
DS has never played a girl character, but he got to be Romeo in "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged" to a boy being Juliette.
He had to kiss the boy too!!!! He said that was a really hard thing for them to do without laughing especially with all their friends going "Ewwwww!!!!" in the audience each night!!:rotfl: It was probably the fastest little peck of a kiss that Romeo and Juliette every had!

Morning everyone!
Well the cancelled school last night for today!!!!
Bubba and I were at target and dh called and said it was all over the tv and he had just gotten thr reverse 911 call. Yippee. I can really use a day to stay home and do laundry, make soup, work on valentines, and chill out. It's been a long long week. And it's o ly Wednesday.
Stay safe everyone that is out in it.
Lisa - happy happy anniversary. And many more.
Danica - please let it be a purple day!! It's my favorite color. Let's hope it comes today. Trying to talk bubbas daddy into a trip down there and it would make it so much easier if I could say " I know but Danica NEEDS us to go there and see her. We all need to support her!!!" it's my plan ;)
I too love the hairbrush and bra quote!!!!:lmao: very funny.
Have a GOOD day everyone.

No school here today -again. The one county is on a level 2 snow emergency, I'm pretty sure the superintendent would get in big trouble if he didn't cancel. This is our fifth snow day this year and the smartypants only gave us 3 next year. :confused3 If he thinks I'm sending my kids after all the testing is done just to hang around because of his poor planning...yah, I don't think so bud.
Finish coffee & bagel.
Empty Dishwasher.
Switch Laundry.
Food should be settled enough to no show itself if I go do elliptical now.
Shower.
More coffee.
Cut the fringe on the blankets.
Lunch.
Work on second CJ.
Cut more fringe (this takes way longer than I thought it should. Guess I'm just not meant to live on the fringe ;) )
Get dinner ready.
More laundry throughout the day.

Thinking purple (hoping purple!) around here today! (There was never this much hoopla around me waiting for my Harvard acceptance letter a million years ago...but then again, this is DISNEY!) :lmao:
DS (and, apparently, his classroom aide) home sick today - thanks to classmate "Frankie" who has been sneezing and coughing all over them for the past few days. Thanks a bunch, Frankie!
DD has school, but it was a scheduled noon release anyway - so no biggie, since our snow is supposed to just start then.
So, a poky day - little bit of chores, little bit of scrapping, and repeat!
Happy Anniversary, Lisa! What a special day! :rose: (couldn't get the fuschia color rose!)

So, we got an early dismissal today! We got out at 11:30 due to snow. It was snowing/flurrying majorly this morning, and about 9:45, they made the announcement that they were closing at 11:30. (We have to be there to serve lunch). At 11:10 or so, the sun came out (we haven't seen it in WEEKS, and HELLOOOOO, it comes out TODAY??), and the flurrying stopped. But, the job was done, so home DS & I are!!
Going to relax this afternoon!! Still hoping to get my workout in, but it'll be much harder since we're "off schedule"!

Wow, what a drive home from the hosp! BIG winds... Buffy, we are very close to the Chesapeake, so they were right! The snow was drifting all over the roads, and you would be driving and all of a sudden it was white...just white... totally blind. They are giving tickets to people who are driving in Maryland...if you aren't essential personel, you get slapped with $1000 fine...yikes! I'm off the next 2 days, so things should be back to normal when I go back to work on Saturday.
We went and picked up DS21's way too cute DGF at work so she could get snowed in at our house. They are outside right now making an igloo. They are using old postal boxes for the brick molds. It's pretty cool looking, but it's getting colder, and dark...
I made hot wing dip...one of her favs, for when they come in to thaw...

I saved 40% off my brand new Disney Vacation. They just extended the % off room rate specials.
I did have a reservation for the Swan deluxe room and the WL standard view - I know bad me - but with the new rate I was able to get WL Courtyard view with bunk beds for only $100 more then the deluxe room at the Swan.
My DH really likes the WL. So he is happy. We saved money, I'm happy. My boys don't have to share a bed, they are happy.
