We live in Jacksonville , where are you located ? Never been to the one in Raleigh , it's a longer drive for us to go there about 3 hours , although we do go there once a year for my DD's allergy appointments so we may have to check it out next time !

That makes sense then that it would take us 3 hours to get to the one in Raleigh , since we are about an hour from Wilmington , were practically neighbors :) lol
The Broadway on the Beach store had mostly toys and nick knacks left not many clothes , hope u were able to make it there and check it out over the weekend !

Thanks Dawn :) Cali Grill will be w/ the kiddies , no babysitter to be able to go for an adults only meal plus we have only ever let family & close friends watch our kids . Chef Mickey's is gonna be dinner D's request , I myself would have rather done somewhere else but he never asks for much so he got his request . lol

Thanks Dawn :) Cali Grill will be w/ the kiddies , no babysitter to be able to go for an adults only meal plus we have only ever let family & close friends watch our kids . Chef Mickey's is gonna be dinner D's request , I myself would have rather done somewhere else but he never asks for much so he got his request . lol
Cali Grille will be a very nice family meal! Caitlin never had a babysiter outside of family either so I completely understand! :goodvibes You will all have a great time at Chef Mickey's too!

Hopefully on the first they will have the park hours put out for September so I can give all our details :)

Your plans for the first day look great. The kids will love all the activities at living with the Seas.
My DH and I are early raiser and always leave the room around 8:00 and many times have been able to be first in a line at rope drop in September. If you see a empty turnstyle do not be afraid to start the line.

I just realized that not only did my day one plans have to change , I did not included any details about arrival day . So I'm going to include both in this update :)
Arrival Day (September 16th 2010)
This day will be spent mostly traveling to the World . Were driving and plan on at least stopping at the Character Premier Outlet in St. Augustine , FL . This place is awesome if you drive to the World u must stop , it's all the authentic merchandise from the parks but half the price ! (Exit 318 off 95) We will probably arrive sometime in the late afternoon depending on when I can talk DH into leaving in the morning and how fast our new GPS gets us there . After arriving and checking into the WL we will head to DTD and probably eat a CS at Wolfgang Puck Express(the food is amazing for being CS) ! After our meal we will do a little window shopping around DTD and then head back to WL for a good night's sleep.
Totally revised Day 1 (September 17th 2010)
Parks : Animal Kingdom (9a.m.-5p.m.) and Magic Kingdom(9a.m.-7p.m.)
ADR: Donald's Safari Breakfast
CS Choices : Flame Tree BBQ or WL counter service(Lunch)Columbia Harbor House , Captain Cooks @ The Poly or Contempo Cafe @ Comtepoary Resort (Dinner)
Special Advents : MNSSHP (7p.m.-12a.m.)
Attraction & Show Plans for AK no particular order :
It's Tough To Be A Bug
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Maharajah Jungle Trek
Flights of Wonder ( 1st time for this show )
Triceratop Spin
Dinosaur ? (Never done this before but I'm gonna extend an offer to DS6 to see if he might want to ride w/ DH)
Festival of the Lion King
Greeting Trails
We will try and make rope drop for AK and probably only stay till shortly after lunch time . Heading back to WL at least by 1 or 2 to rest up and get the kiddies dressed for MNSSHP . Then heading out between 4 or 5 to the MK to eat and partake in the party .
Here are some AK pictures from previous years :

Some random tips.....Dinosaur is pretty scary so I only suggest that for the bravest kids. We have seen many kids crying on/after this ride over the years. If your Ds is the daring type though he'd probably love it!
As for MNSSHP if you want to catch Snow White and the dwarves stop their first. The line gets crazy long and stays that way all evening! There is much more to do then time will allow so try and prioritize what you want to do and then enjoy as much as you can :goodvibes

Sounds great!
What time is your ADR for Donald's Breakfast? If it's not before park opening, get a Kilimanjaro FastPass before you check-in.
It is right next store and you can go right on after you eat.
As for MNSSHP, you'll have a blast.
We did lots of char interaction and no rides when we went in November.
I'd recommend to get there at 4:00 and eat dinner quick-service (Columbia Harbour House is a great choice).
Make sure you get stuff that doesn't drip and make a mess since you'll be in costume.
By 6:30, you should be heading towards your first MNSHHP activity.
We went straight for Toontown and were first on line for Mickey and then waited minimally for Minnie.
But Dawn is right that Snow White also has insane lines.
So you may have to suck it up and wait in line for either Mickey or Snow or skip one (we skipped Snow White).
Another tip - if you want Cinderella's pumkin carraige, that usually opens around 6:30 so you can sneak into that line before the party actually starts.

DS is not very daring , every time he sees people riding Splash Mt. , he says he's not doing that , so it sounds like Dinosaur would probably not be for him . Thanks for the warning Dawn :)
Thanks for the MNSSHP party tips . I think I will go over the party characters w/ the kiddies before our trip and based on who they want to see is what we will do . I think I want to do Snow White & The Dwarf's more than anyone

Thanks so much :) We will try to put a rest in there(Mom would love to rest) , our kiddies are super energetic so it's hard to get them to lay down in the room and rest they usually bounce off the walls !

We can't make our ADR's yet so I'm not sure when we will eat at Donald's ? Last year our ADR there was right before rope drop and it worked out really well , ate came out waited for the rope to drop and then walked right on to KS. Your idea is great too , so we will shoot for it or use what we did last year .
Thanks so much Mike for all the great MNSSHP tips , you gave me so many great things to think about . Def will head to Cindy's carriage early , to check that one off our list before the party starts :)

I'm with everyone else - get in a line early. Whichever picture is most important to you, go ahead and do your waiting early. We've waited on Mickey and Minnie in the past, and we got smart and were first to see Mickey and had a short line for Minnie this year. Next time, we're thinking of doing the Snow White wait.

Thanks for the added encouragement to pick just one of the big Character meet & greets . I'm going to make a list and let the kiddies pick which one they would like to do , only fair :)

Also, be sure to hit the two Photopass shots!
You can get the ghosts at the hearse outside HM and the hitchiking ghosts across from the Liberty Bell.
In both shots, the Photopass photographer magically add the ghosts to your pictures afterwards.
Very fun sounvenir from the event!
And there's usually good Halloween discounts for Photopass for pics from that night...

I agree - take it slow. Stretch out the fun and excitement, and then do the same with the TR when you get back.

Just came across your PTR this afternoon and am subbing. We are going to be there around the same time as the beginning of your trip. We are booked on the DVC cruise from September 12-16 and then planning on spending the 17th and 18th at the Grand Floridian. We have never been to the MNSSHP and that is the main event I am hoping we will be able to attend. I keep looking for dates but they don't seem to be out yet. I am assuming that you are doing what I did which is look up last year's days and infer that the party will be on the same days. I sure hope so because if it is then we too will be going to the one on the 17th. :cool1:
Maybe we can even meet up. You are so far ahead of me in planning your trip. I need to get moving on planning details. Will share with you as things come together. One thing that I did do was book dinner at Crystal Palace on the 17th.
Looking forward to following along with you.

Thanks for joining in :) Cruise sounds like so much fun , something we have never done . This will be our 1st time at MNSSHP also , I got the dates from the Magic Kingdom hours that day , since they close at 7 & that's when the party starts I figured they were having the party on the 17th . Well since Disney has decided to rearrange every-one's plans for them by change the MNSSHP times and MK park hours for September , I'm now at a stand still which is not like me at all , can not figure out how to fix my dilemma ?
September the 17th I had us at AK and eating at Donald's Safari Breakfast @ 8:35 , then attending MNSSHP that evening .
September the 18th I had us at either BB or TL and eating at Chef Mickey's @ 5:05 .
Now here is the dilemma the party has moved to the 18th and I really didn't want to have a dinner ressie on the night of the party , so we could just grab something at the resort and head to the party early , what can I do to fix this any suggestions ?? Below I will included our other ressies in case you think I can make any switches there :)
September 19th Park : Magic Kingdom Dinner ressies : Cali Grill 5:30
September 20th Park:DHS Dinner ressies: Sci Fi @ 5:55
September 21st Park : Epcot Dinner ressies : Captains Grille @ 5:25
Thanks so much :)

Is it possible to get Chef Mickey's on either the 19th or 21st? The kids would probably enjoy CM more then Cali or Yachtsman Grill. (although mom and dad would probably prefer the other two)
Another idea is that assuming they announce free dining...during FD CM usually has a lunch. You could do a lunch in the afternoon before the party on the 18th. That again tho' requires a "wait and see" attitude.
Good luck deciding what to do! :goodvibes

Your 1st suggestion has me thinking does the Captains Grille serve lunch ? I could switch that meal with Chef Mickey's and do a late lunch on the 18th in stead ?
I called today to try and get a 4:00 Chef Mickey's and they said they don't serve to 5 but it may be possible that there times could change according to special events . That darn wait & see ! Dear Disney I need to know for sure :lmao:
Thanks again for your help Dawn :)

If it weren't for your post, I would not have realized that the park hours have been changed. We were going to fly back on the 18th just so we could attend MNSSHP on the 17th. Now my dilemma is whether to extend our stay by a day or try to do this sometime in the future. I know what I would like to do but not sure what is the practical thing to do. I just wish they would release the official dates so we don't have to play the game of "move that ressie"!!

What day do you arrive the 1st party is the 14th if you will be there then u could do that one and then keep your dates the same .
Your exactly right we need official dates "move that ressie" game is not fun at all ! I know some people that are not even able to attend the party at all since they were banking on the 1st party being the 1st week of September and already have airfare booked that can't be changed :(
So glad u saw my post , so now you will be able to adjust :)

This is the start of my new plans as most of the previously planned days have switched days due to the MNSSHP date change !
September 17th first full day at WDW
Park : Epcot (hours 9a.m.-9p.m.) (EMH 9p.m.-12a.m.)
CS Possibles : Sunshine Seasons or Mexico, Lunch
ADR : Captains Grille at The Yacht Club , Dinner
Rides & Attractions :
Spaceship Earth
Innovations
Turtle Talk w/ Crush
The Seas w/ Nemo & Friends
Living w/ The Land
Club Cool ( see if I can trick anyone into the Beverly this year !)
Journey into Imagination w/ Figment
Universe of Energy ? ( I get really bad motion sickness , can anyone tell me what the movie is like for this ride ?)
Kim Possible ? maybe
Kidcot Fun Stops
The American Adventure ( Will try this , don't know if the kids will react ?)
Maelstrom
Gran Fiesta Tour
Character Spot
Illuminations-Reflections Of Earth
This day we probably will eat breakfast in our room and try to make it for rope drop( have never done a rope drop yet , any suggestions on when to arrive ?) at Epcot. We will work through the rides & attractions at the front of the park first . Stopping for every character from there through the World Showcase ! Then head over to World Showcase in the late afternoon checking out every country and making a stop at each Kidcot fun stop. Finishing the night out with Illuminations !
There are also a few things I'd like to check out that we never have before , like:
The Bakery's in France & Norway
Manatee's in The Seas w/ Nemo & friends
Now for some past pictures of Epcot :

The Rope Drop at Epcot isn't much so if you are there a little before 9 you'll be fine.
Universe of Energy would be fine for you. You know I'm a big wimp :lmao: and the movie there doesn't bothe me at all. The screen just sort of surrounds you.
American Adventure would probably bore the kids but maybe you could catch that as they get tired and while you watched it they could take a nap in the cool air conditioning.

Sounds like a great day! :thumbsup2 I am counting on you to take lots and lots of pictures at MNSSHP since we'll be missing it!
Your DD will be an adorable Tink! :cutie: I am suprised that kids are still into Power Rangers. That show came out when Caitlin was little and I thought it was the cheesiest, silliest show ever! But of course she loved it and insisted on being the pink ranger one Halloween:rotfl2:
Also- love the giraffe pic! :thumbsup2

I know I'm strange, but after I posted I read the report backwards, so wanted to tell you how wonderful the pictures were from Myrtle Beach. I haven't been there in years. Also noticed that you are in NC (which is where I Wannabin...LOL). Our son and family live in Kinston, not too far from the coast...... Have a great day!!

So after hearing your plans for Epcot on the 17th, I thought I would try and see if there were any openings at Le Cellier for lunch on the 17th. I was excited to actually find something for noon time. After that I decided to recheck park hours and noticed that on the 17th of September MK is closing at 7pm. :scared1: Could it be that they are going to have MNSSHP that night? I am sure that you can relate to my frustration of these ever changing park hours. Anyways, I just wanted you to be aware. I am hoping that the official dates will come out SOON.:rolleyes1
Have a good day.

I can def do that for you !
Thanks for all the sweet comments Dawn , you are truly a sweetheart !
I told the kids to pick Disney Characters for there costumes , I know you don't have to but I thought it would be fun to stay with the theme ! Anyway to the point , DS6 is really into action heroes so that's why I think he picked Power Rangers and DS3 is just following his brother , so I'm pretty sure he'll be changing his mind at some point lol

Thanks for joining in :goodvibes
We ate at Whispering Canyon Cafe last year and it was very good , so we all about the ketchup ! lol I myself in fact don't like Ketchup so we never had to worry about it .
We have finally perfected our ressie we are eating at Cali Grille, Captains Grille, Donald's Safari Breakfast, Chef Mickey's & Sci Fi Dine

Awe thanks so much we love Myrtle Beach my DH & I have been going there since we were kids :)
We are actually in Jacksonville , so very close to Kinston . Were not natives of NC though our home state is MD , my husband is in Military so that is why we are here .
Hope you want to be in NC for your family and not the area ? We don't care for this area at all it doesn't offer much to do and to me wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the military

Glad you got in to Le Cellier , I've heard it is very good but have never ate there as I don't care for steak that much . lol
I just checked the official WDW website and it is still listing the party as the 18th . On the 17th MK closes at 9 p.m. Hope this helps u out and your plans come in place soon :)

I try to get at rope drop at least 30min. ahead of time. Remember all the turnstiles will open so if you see one empty start your own line.
Good advice. Don't be shy about doing that or going to the far right or left. People crowd up in the middle, and we (along with a few other wise people) will go up and be 1st to 5th in another line. It doesn't make a load of difference, since you're all going to get stopped further in anyway, but being on inside the gates and having a minute or two for picture-taking or just walking leisurely makes more sense than being 122nd in a long line outside the gate. :)

Great plans so far. It's a pain though when Disney changes things on us, isn't it? :rolleyes1 My family will be staying at WL the same time that your family is there. We arrive on the 10th and check out on the 20th. Going for our 10th wedding anniversary.
Your children are very cute. I love all of the flashback pictures that you have posted.
Yay for MNSSHP tickets. I ordered ours for the 14th and have to pick them up at Will Call. I decided to save a few $ and go for the AP discount. I get nervous though knowing that I won't have them in my hand when I leave home.
Can't wait to hear more about your plans.

September 19th Day 3
Park : Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach
Park Hours : 10 am - 5pm
CS's : Leaning Palms , Typhoon Tilly's Snack Shack or Lottawatta Lodge
ADR's : Chef Mickey's Dinner
In the past we have done both water parks but decide only to do one this year. In all reality though we probably could go with out the water-park and more option , because using 2 out of the sometimes 7 or more extras is really not worth the money to me ! If it means in extra day at Walt Disney World though , we can forget about the money right ? lol Anyway on to day three's plans not sure which water-park we are gonna go to but we will stay till probably around 2 and then head back to the WL to get cleaned up , then off to our ADR at Chef Mickey's . We haven't ate at Chef Mickey's since 2008 and it was ok , no real complaints but my family asked to do it so they shall receive ! After our dinner we will head to DTD to do some much needed WDW shopping .
Water Park Rides :
Castaway Creek
Ketchakiddee Creek
Cross Country Creek
Tike's Peak
Teamboat Springs
DTD Stores :
Basin
Disney's Days Of Christmas
Disney's Pin Traders
Goofy's Candy Company
Lego Imagination Center
Once Upon A Toy
Trend-D
World Of Disney
Now for some pictures of Water-parks & DTD past :

Great water park pictures! We always do one waterpark per trip and pay out or our pockets for one day passes. It is a little bit cheaper than adding them to our hopper passes. I am curious which one you prefer. We like BB better but I think strictly because I like the theming better which seems like sort of a silly reason. Just wondering what you think:confused3.

Maybe you can give us some water park tips. Our guys have been, but Jill and I and the girls have not. We've thought about maybe Jill and John taking Brooklynn sometime while I stay back with Bella. I thought we might do that this summer, since we'll have plenty of days. It just depends on if they want to pay the extra, I guess. How long do you think they'd need to stay to really say they got their money's worth, and what tips could you give them on taking Brooklynn?

Yes, it's always nice to take one day to cool off and plus my kiddies aren't really swimmers yet so they really enjoy the kiddie area at both parks where they can touch as appose to some of the hotel pools where they can't !

This time though with our military discount we only had to pay $25 more for 6 days of water-parks & more which if I'm correct would be cheaper than one day admission . I'm not sure which one we like better ? I use to think it was TL but BB kiddie area is a little easier to be able to sit and watch your kiddies play and not have to chase them around . So I guess maybe BB :confused3
I think Brooklynn & Bella both would enjoy the water-parks . The kiddie areas at both parks are really nice for the little ones even ones as young as Bella . If Brooklynn can swim pretty well with a life jacket there will be more for her to do . We however are always limited to the kiddie areas & the lazy river since all 3 of mine aren't really swimmers . I think BB however has the better kiddie area it is all kinda centered right in front of the sitting area , so you have a great view of the whole thing . TL area kinda wraps around , so you have to tail your child's every move . They supply life jackets at the park for everyone that needs one at no cost, if they do TL they'll want to bring sand toys or buy some inside the gate there very cheap. We usually get to the park at opening , eat lunch there and then head back to our room around 2 or so. As far as getting your money's worth , I really don't think you do with the little ones cause there are a lot of slides they can't do . They are really limited to the kiddie area, wave pool with Mom & Dad , Lazy River w/ Mom & Dad and the Family Raft ride which is only at BB I believe . Hope this helps :) Any other questions ask away

Hey! Stopping by for a second. Read through page 3. Not making any promises but I'm gonna bookmark this and try to get myself addicted to Dis again. :lmao: All of the pictures are GREAT! Of course I must have skipped over the part where we met up back in Feb. LOL Just kidding. FYI the other outlet store on 501 is gone now too. We only have Tanger 17 left. Better than nothing! I still can't believe BATB went OOB! Weird. It was always slammed pack in the Summer.

I have to go locate ours before four weeks from today!
I was thinking of having characters autograph a bag, cap, or pillowcase or something for Brooklynn for this trip. She has multiple books. A pillowcase should be easy, wouldn't you think?

I would lean more towards a bag or cap , only because I wonder how a pillowcase would hold up & how many times could you wash it before the signatures would wash off ??

OK , so after reading several dinning reports where people were not at all happy w/ there meal at the Cali Grill & they questioned weather it was really worth 2 dinning credits. I'm now questioning my own decision to eat there & the use of 2 dinning credits ! It's been playing on my mind all day but I'm not sure where I would eat if I do cancel it ???
Any Thoughts :confused3:confused3:confused3

The thing you need to remember is everyone has their own opinion about everything and you may love something someone else hates. Have you looked at the menu? If the menu appeals to you and the family I'd give it a try. If you weren't real excited about the menu choices then I'd suggest going somewhere else.
I looked back at your adrs and noticed you don't have Whispering Canyon. Since you're staying at WL I would definitely go there. Good food and fun atmosphere for the kids. You would then still have another credit to use at your choosing.
If you want a signature meal other than Cali I'd suggest Narcossee's. My family always enjoys that :)
Good luck deciding!

Thanks for all the advice Dawn :goodvibes I did in fact cancel the ressie , I just couldn't see using 2 table credits on one meal . So our new ADR's are Whispering Canyon on arrival day 9/16 & Cape May on 9/19 . Better use of our credits or at least I think so :)

Hollywood does need some work in the counter service area. They have a few options, but none of them seem to have the quality of food that just calls people back again.

The most exciting news is that we are planning next years trip already. We are gonna take my Sister In-law & Brother In-law and our 4 nieces for there first WDW trip ! Since there are so many of us we are gonna stay off property & rent a villa . I've already found the one we are gonna rent & hope to put a deposit down to hold our dates as soon a possible !

All caught up! Looksto be a fun trip. You should do a recap on what days are what, since things got changed several times.
Also some of your pictures say they are deleted from photobucket, in case you didn't know.
I bet you are so excited. Claire and I both want to go at Halloween time, but it is always busy farming season, so it might not be for years till we can go then.
Thanks for joining in Jen , so glad to have you hear
I'm def gonna do a recap now thanks for the great suggestion !
I did not know some of my pictures got deleted , I think it's cause I rearranged some of the photos in my account :confused3
Yes, I'm more than excited I just wish it would get here already lol
There had to be a catch!!!!
Yes, I agree ! Made me feel really weird and uneasy & when I told DH about it he thought the same thing !

The day will start off with us eating breakfast in our room and then heading immediately to Magic Kingdom . Ridding everything we can in no particular order until lunch which will most likely be at Columbia Harbor House but we are leaving our options open. after lunch we will continue riding the rides and taking in the shows until it's time for our Chef Mickey's Dinner reservation which we will use the Monorail to get to . After dinner we will head back to Magic Kingdom to fit in anything we missed and re-ride anything we love . At 7 we will have to leave as there is Halloween party this night, so no MSEP this night ! May head to to Epcot until 9 or DTD to do some last minute shopping ! Then back to the room to rest up for our 10 hour drive home :(

I'm hoping we can cut the car ride down to 8 or 9 this year lol We bought a GPS recently and it has seem to shave an hour to two hours off our trips ! If you think 10 hours is bad when we lived in Maryland it was around a 16 to 18 hour drive and we made that drive in 07 & 08 lol I just really do not like to fly , the onetime we did I felt like everyone working in the airport was like hurry up, hurry up, hurry up lets go , very pushy like ! I like to take my time and enjoy the scenery .

Let me know if you get the trip down to 8 or 9. I think 9 is about the best we've done. I would rather fly but it's cheaper to drive and flying is becoming challenging with all the luggage restrictions and fees!

We took a Mini Vacation back home to Maryland for a week in July & stayed with my Disney Grandparents. Here are some pictures from that trip :
One of the first days we were there we visited Ft. Ashby , WV . To visit and have a meal my Disney Grandfathers family . Me , DH & the kids spent a good bit of the time visiting with my cousin , her husband & little girl . We had a great day in Ft. Ashby and can't wait to go there again, it's so beautiful and quite .

We also went to Lakemont Amusement Park in Altoona , PA w/ the sister in-law & nieces . Lakemont is the 8th oldest amusement park in the USA and has world's oldest roller coaster , so a lot of history in this trip.
Here it is the world's oldest roller coaster

Not only did our family of 5 go but so did the sister in-law & her family of 5 , My Mom & her boyfriend , DH's Dad's Girlfriend & her son and his girlfriend ! So we were a very large group but we had a blast especially the kids :)

Yes , we def did Dawn :goodvibes
I'm hoping DS3 will not be scared of the rides at WDW but last year he would cry on every single ride that was dark , so add that to his recent crying on any ride at Lakemont we may be in trouble !

What a fun trip. I like action packed trips. hopefully the youngest will do much better at Disney. We worried that on our first trip with Claire she would scream at the characters, because she did with Santa, but she loved them. But she still is very leary of Santa and the Easter bunny. Must be the Disney magic!

Is Cape May the character breakfast or the Clam Bake?
We've done the breakfast and will be trying the Clam Bake in January...
The others are among our favorites.
You might even want to try T-Rex while you're at Downtown Disney.

Well I have many reasons to celebrate today :
Woo Hoo 3 Weeks Till WDW !!
DS6 Started 1st Grade Today !!
My Grandma Had Been In The Hospital Since Last Sunday & Today She Was Well Enough To Come Home !!!
In other news , I've been really upset otherwise today :( We have had a dog for 6 years now a Cocker Spaniel Mix named Maddison , well back in April we got a puppy who is now 4 months a English Bulldog Boxer Mix named Mocca . Well to make a long story short Maddy the 6 year old does not like the puppy & it's at the point where we have to keep them separate one dog downstairs the other up ,they also even have to be separate to go to the bathroom . To top it all off Maddy the 6 year old is having an accident in my house at least once a day which is just ruining the carpet , not to mention the smell it leaves behind ! I don't really want to get rid of either dog but I'm really afraid that it might come down to that . So I spent all afternoon talking to vets, vet techs and I even put a call in to a behaviorist and I'm hoping someone can help me !
Thanks for listening I know I went on quite a rant about the dogs , it's just really been bothering me today :(
Will hopefully post our MNSSHP Schedule 2moro and first day of school pictures of DS6 .

:woohoo: for 3 weeks and your grandma going home from the hospital!
I'm so sorry to hear your dogs aren't getting along. We twice introduced new dogs to existing dogs in our family and didn't have any problems. I guess we just got lucky :confused3 I'm sure it's very stressful so I hope you are able to work something out! :goodvibes
Looking forward to seeing your son's first day pic! I miss those days :)

It is very stressful but after talking to the behaviorist yesterday a lot of that was relieved , she gave me several things that were gonna try now to fix the problem and that I think will help . Then once we get the money saved were gonna get one or both of the dogs trained , so they will at least obey us when we tell them to leave one another alone .
Pictures & MNSSHP Plans coming right up !!

First Cute Halloween Costumes !!!
Second loved the first day of school pix !!
Thirdly on the Doggie issues ... We have a Pit Bull and about 2 years ago Judy HAD to have a little dog so we got a cute little Miniature Schitzu!! I was petrified the Pit would hurt it !!Couldn't have been more wrong he LOVES his little buddy !! Is absolutely wonderful with him and tolerates all the playing the little one does with all parts of him amazingly!! The little one gets to eat first and they will only eat out of the same bowl!!
So we are soooo proud of our Big Boy!!!!

I hope you get all the cool Halloween costumed characters you want! Those lines get long. I'd really love to have one with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but we're not doing MNSSHP this year. We have a short trip and a tight budget, and since we have done it more than once, we're sacrificing this time. I do love that parade, though! One of the best ever!
I'll have to check back tonight to see the school pictures, since I am at school myself.
It's good to hear that your grandmother got to get out of the hospital! :cool1:

Me too Memom !! I can totally understand u all skipping the party this time and saving money since you have been before and you go several times a year :thumbsup2
Can't wait for you to see the school pictures , he looked so cute !
Yes, I'm very happy she was able to come home :) She's 84 and doesn't get around to well so she's gonna have to have a lot of attention until she gets back around to moving at her normal pace .

The plan looks great (and vaguely familiar! ;) )
If you think the kids will stay late, you can skip the 1st parade and fireworks and do more characters.
Lines tend to thin out a bit during the parade & fireworks.
However, ours were pooped by 9:30/10 so you might just want to go to the 1st showing of everything to make sure they catch it.
I think I mentioned these before but if not...
As for costumes and special chars, Snow White (and all 7 dwarves) is the next longest line compared to Mickey and Minnie.
Pooh and Friends in costume usually hang out outside their ride.
And Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale, and Goofy are usually dancing at the parties so give those a shot.

Once again Mike thanks for all these great tips :thumbsup2 I think we will do the first parade just in case they don't make it and if they do we will get candy & do meet and greets till close !
I think we are gonna skip Snow White & the dwarves just seems like to big of a feet for our first party . Gonna def do Mickey & Minnie , try for Pooh & Piglet , Alice and Characters on her trail and some of the other characters that have there own meet and greets . Not sure about the dance parties may slip by one of those would rather have individual pictures of my kids w/ the characters then with a slew of others . lol

I'm so glad your grandma is doing well.
I hope the issue with your dogs get resolved. We once got a puppy (all of ours are outside farm dogs) and teh bigger dog we had at the time was petrified of the puppy. Who would've thunk it! :confused3
Your plan sounds great for the Halloween party. I would love to go to that some day. I think just taking in what you can is a very good plan. And at least you have an idea of how you want to go about it.
Your son is so handsome! That one picture makes his eyes just light up and they are so gorgeous! How does he like school? It's so hard to see our babies grow up! Wait till he's a couple of inches taller than you! :rotfl2:
