There is supposed to be a remake coming out sometime this year of what I call the creepiest horror flick I've seen to date. It was originally a made for tv film called Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, which aired back in the 70's.
Apparently, Katie Holmes is supposed to be in a remake that is due out in 2010 from Miramax? pictures. Unless I've been under a rock lately, I thought Miramax was extinct. The IMDB website has this project in "post production", but has not updated since September '09. I have Googled this movie project and nothing seems updated, other than the actors who have signed on.
Since Miramax is/was under the Disney umbrella....does anyone know anything on this? Or does anyone know the most accurate website for upcoming movie news?? Everything I find when searching is outdated. Since it's already 2010, you'd think there would be a set release date or trailer or something. :confused:
When did Miramax drop off the earth, and does this mean chances of this film's release is slim to none, even in post production?
