Back in NJ after an amazing 9th cruise! Had an incredible voyage with spectacular weather! A detailed trip report if forthcoming. Had a bit of an odessey getting home due to a blizzard, but we finally made it, though quite a shock to our systems after a week of summer weather!

We'd be happy to answer any questions!

School is out today and more snow coming later today...come on March!

How was the water in CC? Was it comfortable or chilly?

We always select late seating and this year all venues were at 8:15.

Our youngest had a two hour delay today. It looks like we got in right in between storms. Our Saturday afternoon flight was cancelled and the earliest they thought they could get us out was Wednesday! So we stayed the night, rented a car yesterday and drove home. Travel insurance should pick up most of these expenses!

Only spent a little time at Serenity Bay. The island and the day were both beautiful, but the water seemed a little chilly. It would have been fine if I had booked any water related excursions, but I opted for heading back to the pool and sunning on deck.

We were at CC on Feb. 2 and the water temp was 75. A bit chilly at first, but fine once you got in for a minute.

I was also there on the 2nd of Feb. Water was cool but the weather was awesome. A perfect sunny day. Much better than I expected.

We were there on the 5th, the day was warm, but started a little cloudy but got progessively more sunny! There were one or two quick passing showers, but it was beautiful. A little breezy with slightly choppy sea conditions. A few excursions were cancelled.

I'm sure I could have gotten used to the water, heck I'm on the beach in February and the water was probably warmer than the Atlantic off the NJ coast in July. Truth is I'm not a big beach lover and very much enjoyed being around the pool and sunning on deck. My DW and her DGM (God mother) sat at the water's edge reading for a long time.

The crew said this week had been the best weather week for this itinerary in about two months, and it was spectacular.

I just posted another thread about this but haven't gotten any responses so I thought I would ask you! Was the 1/2 of deposit offer (when rebooking onboard) offered during your cruise???

Sorry to take over but I was on this cruise also. The 1/2 off deposit was still going on last week. We booked 2 three day cruises including the Dream :)

We are going next Feb. and some are concerned that it will not be warm enough- esp. the water temp. I am sure it will feel warm for me in NY!

What was the weather like on deck, especially for the first few days? We leave Saturday and I'm second-guessing what I've packed since the forecast is not looking too great. They are saying high of 60 on Saturday.
