Petrol Prices - Driving to DLRP

Hi,

We are driving to DLRP in March, does anyone know if the unleaded petrol is cheaper in France?

We find unleaded to be about the same as the UK, possibly a little cheaper but not much, having said I haven't been since last year. Diesel is very cheap compared to over here.

The auchan near Disney is very reasonable for both fuels but isn't open on a Sunday

As above but I find its more expensive for petrol in France if anything and cheaper for diesel.

Don't forget to factor in toll road costs(it adds a lot of time and petrol money to the journey if you avoid them)

Yeah, it is about 20 euro each way.

We tend to fill up at the petrol station at Tesco in Ashford and we then only need to fill up once in France. The petrol station at Auchan is unmanned so you may prefer to use the Esso station near to the Park.

When we buy in the hypermarket garages it has always been at least 15 pence per litre cheaper for diesel, we avoid the motorway garages as like over here they are high

The Auchan at Disney is manned for UK customers, its in the underground car park. The station upstairs can only be used by people with French debit/credit cards
