Unless you are shooting someone sitting near you, turn your flash off. It's not doing you any good.

Unless, of course, you are using one of them new-fangled DSLR's. They can turn anyone into a pro.

Yeah but it looks pretty to those of us at home watching 1,000's all go off at same time :)

Funny b/c I think the same thing watching every major stadium event! Then they will go online tomorrow complaining that there is something wrong with their camera b/c it didn't get the pics they wanted.
Everytime I used my flash my tv screen got washed out... :confused3 Maybe I need a better camera.

Definitely, full frame will take care of that. :rotfl2:

Had they been playing in a domed stadium they could have bounced the flash off the ceiling :rolleyes1

Watching Illuminations Saturday night I saw a *lot* of flashes going off. If it wasn't working they wouldn't have kept doing it. If my pictures don't turn out good next time (ie. nicely illuminated backs of heads) I will turn my flash on too! ;)

Flash plus ISO 12800 is a little bit of overkill, don't ya think Jeff? :rolleyes1

Using a flash, makes the ride look so much better... so much easier to enjoy...
