I know that resort guests get free parking at the parks. I think that you can also get free parking if:

- you have a certain type American Express card (platinum) ??
- you buy an Annual pass ??

Can anyone confirm these or any other ways that you can get free parking?

TIA for your replies.

You can also get free parking at the WDW hotels if you are eating dinner in one of the restaurants. We did this a few times at Poly and at the Contemporary. It's a great way to view the fireworks and avoid traffic after the parks close - just make sure to get reservations!:D

You only can park for free at the resorts if you self park and it is my understanding that they now issue 3hr parking passes at the monorail resorts for nonmonorail resort guests who self park.

In July of 2001 Disney started a $6 per day valet parking fee at the deluxe resorts that offer valet parking. There are some specific exceptions like if you have handicapped plates. Or if you are a DVC member staying at your resort.(example if you are are DVC member staying at the BWV then you would be able to valet park for free at the BWV only.)

DVC members get free valet parking at BWV, BCV, & VWL. They do NOT have to be staying at the resort to qualify for the free valet service. (Tips are still appropriate).

DVC members' dues help to pay for valet parking at the DVC resorts. DVC members do pay for the valet parking service at non-DVC hotels.
