After doing a lot of homework, and considering all the details, we finally made the jump to hopefully own at DVC. :yay: Our resort will be BCV and we are purchasing through resale,. Not getting my hopes up just yet, still need to make it through ROFR. If all goes well, looking for an early April close. Keeping our fingers crossed for a visit in Sept!!! Thanks to all on this site who helped us make the decision by providing an excellent source of information! I'd also like to add that Jerry from the Timshare Store was great to work with and I'm surpriised on how easy it is to get it all done. With an infant and a 4 year old, we will be enjoying many vacations to come:woohoo:

Thanks rocketriter, I'm not getting our hopes up just yet though. Gotta get thru ROFR. But I paid the sellers offer price, so hopefully that helps, but based on this site, I've seen them ROFR at the price I'm paying.

mmcculloch, I'm from Seymour. Near New Haven. And you??? Lots of CT folks on here. Everytime I go to Orlando from Hartford, the plane is pretty much full of Disney folks.

Congratulations! I know you will love it! DVC is awesome. We have not stayed at BCV but we did visit when we stayed at BLT last time. It is very nice. It is so exciting to join and know that when you leave, you WILL be coming back!!! I love it.
