I recently ordered something for my mom off of the internet. It was shipped late last week. I just realized that I gave the wrong zip code! I put our old zip code...same city, just different area so different zip code. My address, city, and state are all correct...just the wrong zip code!
Is there anything I can do? Will I still get my package?!?

If you are shipping UPS than you should be able to get a tracking code which you can track your package online or over the phone.

I have the tracking number and it is at the UPS place near here where all my packages usually go before coming to my house. If I called UPS, could the correct my mistake?

I've had it where people have sent me things with the wrong zip code (they flipped numbers or the like) and I have gotten it. They found the right place based off of the street address. I'd try to track it and see what happens and if your town is smaller like mine is you might be lucky and get it just fine. Do you know for certain it has been sent yet because you can always try to stop the shipment too before it goes out (I've done that before as well). Good luck.

Nope...not a small town...Baton Rouge is pretty big.
It has been shipped, so I can't stop it.

You'll get it, maybe delayed. It's not like there's a place with the same street address in Baton Rouge with a different zip code. They'll read the address & send it to the right place when they see there's no address like that in that zip code.

I'm sure I'll get it...I'm just wondering how long it'll take! We're leaving for WDW on Friday and I made sure when I ordered the package that I'd get it before Friday...that was before I gave the wrong zip code.

It should arrive without much of a problem. Just be thankful that you didn't ship the order via the US Postal System. A few weeks ago I did an overnight priority mailing through the USPS to Texas. All the information was accurate, yet they still managed to ship it to Alaska instead of Texas. This was quite a shock, since I live in Oklahoma and most of my family is in Texas. I had no idea that the most direct route down there was via Alaska. Silly me...I'd always just headed south to visit my mom. Learn something new every day, I guess.
