What does signature dining mean? does it mean you use more table service credits to get this type of restaurant? My DH and I would love a meal alone at a nice rest. but which one? does anyone have a favorite?:confused3

Hi
When you dine at a signature restaurant you use 2 table service credits instead of the normal one.

My DH and I also decided that we would love a nice and sophisticated meal on our own on our trip last year. As we were staying at the Wilderness Lodge we decided we would try Artists Point. Our dd went to the onsite kids club - (Cub's den) she loved it.

We had a really good meal although I'm not sure I thought it was so much better than other meals to warrant an extra credit - however thats only my opinion and I know that most people on these boards think it's a great restaurant.

Hope this helps

"Signature restaurants" are considered (by Disney) to be more upscale in either food or atmosphere (or both) and thus an extra cost is assessed for them. Some assume that because they cost two credits per person, they include an appetizer on the basic dining plan - not so, it's generally the same entitlement on basic as one-credit a la carte restaurants - entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage.
