"peak season" ?

We have only been to WDW during "value season" but next trip looks like it will be late Feb.(after Pres. week) I mistakenly thought it was "regular" season but it turns out to be "peak", yikes!!!! So my ? is... have any of you had good discounts or codes during peak season? I have never bought an AP but maybe it would be worth it for the discount, do AP discounts ever get offered in peak season? Or is AAA the best I can hope for?
